Summary
Arthur always thought that no matter the secrets Merlin so clearly kept, Arthur knew him.
And maybe he’s a fool; maybe he’s as naïve and unsuspecting as his father and Morgana both liked to claim him to be, but in that second—in that second where he stares into cold, unfamiliar eyes that have nothing on Merlin, he finds that he still believes it.
In theory, it's the perfect plan. Who better to impersonate to get close to the newly crowned king than the King's personal manservant, the court physician's apprentice—Emrys himself?
In reality, though—in reality, Arthur knows Merlin far better than anyone would've expected, down to the fact that Merlin is keeping secrets. Neither Merlin nor Arthur thought they would be revealed like this, but when all is said and done, it's probably the best outcome of an assassination attempt anyone could ask for.

Summary
It wasn’t a secret at all that Arthur could barely manage to keep a servant for more than a week. The man cycled through them like socks, firing them as fast as he hired them.
So when the people of Camelot had heard of the new stranger who sacrificed his life to save Arthur becoming his new servant, sure they thought it was weird, but they knew he’d be gone by the end of the month.
And come the second month where Merlin was still his manservant, of course they began to have questions.

“My friends are my hoard,” Merlin groaned into the table his face was slammed on and Gaius raised an unimpressed eyebrow.
“Is this you just now realising it, or just you finally admitting it?” He asked and Merlin raised his head and glared at him.
“Gaius, how am I meant to deal with this? I mean, they’ve already asked me so many questions! And today-! I accidentally revealed to Percy my magic!” Merlin complains.

It's been five years since Merlin became a dragonlord and now he's going through "dragonlord puberty." He grows wings, talons and fangs and gets Dragon-like behavior, such as collecting a hoard.
Which would be all fine and dandy except that Merlin's inner dragon decided to hoard his friends and now Merlin has to hope none of them notice his strange behaviours.

Galiad fell to his knees, ears ringing. He never should have tried to kill the King. It had been a stupid, reckless decision, and he could not believe he’d been so easily bribed into it.
He had let his ego get the better of him, and now, here he was, on his knees in the throne room, fighting back tears, trying not to throw up all over the stone floor, begging for his life to be spared.
And here’s the real kicker; he wasn’t even on trial for the attempted murder of his King. His Majesty didn’t know about that.
No, Galiad was on trial for the crime he’d committed against King Arthur’s manservant.

(Basically meaning, I wanted to explore the conversations the gaang would have about their separate societies, traditions, and worldviews)
Chapter One: The Gaang wonders, what does a Training Accident even mean? And why do so many Fire Nation recruits seem to have the mark of one?
Chapter Two: Sokka worries about what training methods Zuko will use with Aang and finding out the Fire Nation's way of 'training' the previous night.
He didn't realize what kind of training Zuko was referring to though, and actual discipline is very different than he thought.Chapter Three: Zuko reflects on what Aang said. Control...versus intent... How does one even not have ill intent?
Chapter Four: Zuko teaches Aang the new trick he learned: How to NOT burn things.
Chapter Five: Sokka sees Zuko practicing his new skill. He does not react...well.
