A series of Good Omens/Stardew Valley ficlets I've been posting on tumblr as I play through thunderheadfred's "Stardew Omens" mod (which replaces Harvey with Aziraphale as the town doctor). Knowledge of the game provides some additional context for the NPCs etc but really it's all about the ineffable farm romance here.

Summary
It is one of those oddly contradictory facts Stolas’ life seems so filled with, that he thinks about this often enough to have a plan, yet never truly considers it. It isn’t an easy course to take, even if he truly wanted to, and he’s never been sure of the truth of the desire, has he? Does it really count as something to worry about if he never means it? If there’s always something stopping him? The chains of obligation are heavy, yes, but at least they keep him grounded. Every ill fate has its silver lining, does it not? He supposes his is that he has no choice but to live.
The plan goes like this: he waits for a day where Octavia is out with her mother.

Create-a-storm powerful. Blow-up-a-toilet powerful. Blow-up-a-volcano powerful. That sort of thing.” She shrugs like she hasn’t dropped bombshell after bombshell, and Jason barely has enough presence of mind left to register that his jaw is hanging open. “Right–”

He finds himself stranded, alone, and injured in the Earth Kingdom when taken in and raised as a healer and farmer by an Earth Kingdom couple. He finds new ways to use his bending and to influence in the changing of the war with new understanding of himself, his bending, and the war. As someone with new perspectives and influence he is able to provide a greater understanding of being a teacher, warrior, and friend when meeting the gaang.

Summary
After his duel, Zuko had fled to the Earth Kingdom where he has been living for the past 3 years, living as a farmer and a healer after being adopted by a nice Earth Kingdom family, presumed dead by the Fire Nation when disappearing while injured, giving Iroh a chance to keep Azula from staying loyal to her father. Given a chance to heal & find people who genuinely care about him with no ties or loyalty to his father, he is able to be saved from growing bitter and jaded after years of failing at a mission. Using his alias as The Blue Spirit as a healer who has learned to use firebending to heal as opposed to as a thief and assassin, he is able to influence views on firebending from both the Earth Kingdom and Water Tribes as wells as firebenders themselves. He comes across the Gaang in the harbor town he has been living in, connecting with them as a healer who still remembers how to fight from what his life used to be, joining their cause before they even reach the Northern Water Tribe.
This is a series, I have posted a summary at the end of the 1st part if you don't want to read Zuko's recovery arc. I would suggest reading it, but it isn't plot heavy and I'm not here to tell you how to live your life.
