Summary
Shane Hollander is the only open Little in the NHL. In January, he unexpectedly regressed mid-game.
When his team later makes it to the playoffs, he knows he can't let that happen again and starts taking suppressants.
When his Caregiver, Ilya Rozanov, finds out, Shane realises two things: the suppressants aren't the solution he thought they were... and he doesn't want to handle this on his own anymore.
Falling apart was never part of the plan.
Fortunately, Ilya is very good at catching him.

Summary
AU based very vaguely off the idea of King Shadow from the Archie Comics ((AKA the author hasn't read anything by Ken Penders and would prefer to keep it that way))
Twenty-five years after Sonic disappeared in the final war against Eggman, Shadow has risen to become king of Mobius and rule over it with an iron fist. He seems to have it all- a loyal wife, a dutiful enforcer, the love of his people- but his resentment for the world around him has only grown, unlike his body, which has remained as small as it did when he was created by Dr. Gerald Robotnik all those years ago.
On the twenty-fifth anniversary of his supposed death, Sonic returns and manages to take him down, but only thanks to the king's "loyal" wife Sally and "dutiful" enforcer Knuckles helping him. The kingdom hardly even mourning his usurpation, Shadow is convinced his end is nigh as he waits for his execution in the castle dungeon, but unbeknownst to him, Sonic and Sally have a rather... unorthodox idea on how to not only rehabilitate the former king, but secure themselves a future heir to their kingdom.
People of Mobius, bow your heads low; here comes King- er, Prince Shadow!

The Omega-verse system has rules to follow when it comes to social customs about the idea of apologizing and forgiveness. Some will spend their entire lives on their feet to grovel for said forgiveness because the idea of the person wronged gets to set the journey of healing and how they respond. Everyone who follows omega-verse traditions knows this…that is if you have these systems in the first place.
In short, Miles’ universe doesn’t have omega-verse designations and is deeply confused by why Miguel O’Hara has been strangely overprotective and very affectionate since they saved the world together, shenanigans ensue.
