Summary
Following the missed meeting in 1989 Hob has a rather unfortunate run-in with the Corinthian. This sets of a chain of events which leads him on a journey into the occult, accompanied by none-other than Johanna Constantine.
Together they have to solve the mystery surrounding a number of tools, lost by an entity known as the Oneiromancer, before they can fall into the wrong hands.
A tale of adventure and friendship, leading to a romance that has been in the making for many centuries.

“Uhm...” Hob mumbled intelligently. “Excuse me, but who are you?”
“Me?" Red lips streched impossibly wider. "You may call me Desire, my dear.”

Summary
It came sudden. His friends head snapped around, fanthomless eyes staring directly at him. One pale hand reached out and took hold of his arm, fingers as long as spider-legs which dug themselves painfully into his flesh.
“Find me.”
Hob awoke with sweat sticking to his brow, breath caugh in his lungs, with shaking hands he pushed back his fringe.
And stared.
There on his arm, just below his left elbow and clearly visible on his tan skin were indents, a row of half-moons, remnants from spindly fingers with long nails, leaving in their wake quickly fading marks.
What if Dream of the Endless had retained a small fraction of his power while being held captive by Roderick Burgess?
What if his power had been just enough to keep sending small messages to the only man that had ever dared to call him “friend”?

Kazuto’s voice rang out as he clambered back to the kitchen. “Found ‘em.” There was the sound of a muted smack. “Hidin’ out as per usual. Typical after the regulate-which-a-ma-call-it’s been put on ‘em. But I’m sure you know all ‘bout that.” Kazuto appeared through the doorway, making a turn around a pile of moldy newspapers. “Seein’ as your his teachers ‘n all.”
“The regulator? I’m not sure what you--” Hizashi’s voice died out as Shinsou’s shock of purple hair stepped into the kitchen behind his foster father.
Because--Shouta was quite literally seeing red--because strapped to his students’ face was an honest to god muzzle. A fucking muzzle.
Shinsou finally lifted his head as he paused just behind Kazuto’s shoulder and his eyes widened as he took in the sight of his two teachers standing before him. Shouta watched as his puffy and red-ringed gaze filled with something that almost, if Shouta didn’t know any better, looked like fear.
