Summary
Before you read, take notice that I am no longer working on this fanfic.
A compass created a long time ago, once wielded by the ancinets themselves has been lost at sea- nowhere to be found. As the ancients and beasts continue on with their days, they soon notice that their powers have began to fade away. Finding themselves without any resuming powers they now have to work together, even though being sworn enemies, to get their SoulJams to function.
Will they regain their powers, or will they all be known as the ancients, and previous ancients, who failed?

John leaned in close, the knife cool against the bruised skin of 1x1’s cheek. The blade’s edge traced a line with almost surgical precision, just enough pressure to leave a sting, a thin red line marring his skin, though not deep enough to bleed.
Their eyes met—John’s gaze steady, unreadable, like he’d seen far worse and would do far worse without blinking. “I’ll spare you,” he said softly, voice barely above a whisper. “But only ‘cause of how pitiful that was. I could get a damn fortune for turning you in, no doubt about it. You’re wanted, everyone knows it.”
He tilted the knife slightly, forcing 1x1 to hold his gaze. “But I’m feelin’ merciful tonight.”

His body frose, he heard the gun go off but he didnt feel anything, did the guy miss? “See? I said you wouldn’t have to call the police. And now you can't even if you wanted to.” The voice made him want to slap the guy in the face, hard. The sickening smile made him want to do it even more. Instead he looked at his phone which had been shot, there was indeed no way to turn this psykopath in.
Chuuya Nakahara was a college student majoring in poetry. He unfortunately didn't have the money for an apartment outside of the college dorms and there he lives with some guy called Tachihara. After getting annoyed one time, eating some pasta with wine and being forced into the rainy streets of Yokohama, poetry was no longer the only thing on Chuuyas mind.

When a silly rumor started to spread around about Dark Cacao allegedly having a crush on one of the Beast cookies, he denied it immediately, saying how he would never fall for such evil like them.
Same goes to Burning Spice when some people speculated that HE was the secret crush, having the excuse that he had no time in his life for love and never will. Especially for a damn Ancient.
Though that was a lie. Both of their excuses were shameful lies. Because behind closed doors, they would occasionally meet each other another in secret.
They love each other, they brought pleasure to each other. It was wrong, but to them it felt right. Shamelessly right.
