Despite everything seemingly being over, Oswald just couldn't free himself of the awful memories, and the panic they brought with them. Why couldn't everything just go back to normal, now that he'd fixed it?
Why did he see those glowing eyes around every corner?

Angel Dust was in a fresh, surprisingly good relationship with Hell's very own Radio Demon. Sure they'd had some kinks (not that kind, unfortunately) getting to where they were now. But...Angel had something actually, truly good going for him.
Then he got a call from his sister, and suddenly his whole family was going on a road-trip. He'd be fine going too, right?
Especially since he got to bring his new boyfriend. Sure, Al had to be disguised, but that was fine. No ways anything could go wrong with that.

“Papyrus’ suggestion?” Toriel repeated, a tad confusedly, “What suggestion? Did I miss something?”
“He told us to stop clownin’ around,” Sans recalled for her, winking with a one armed shrug as he leaned into her side. “But I think we're too good at it to quit, no?”
Toriel felt herself straighten as a joyous realization fell upon her shoulders. “You think we should go as clowns!”

There was a virus spreading throughout Detroit. Exclusively infecting androids, it was nearly undetectable and its method of spreading was as much a mystery as how this virus somehow mutated the robots into feeling physical pain.
Connor wasn't allowed near this case, or risk catching this virus. He disapproved heavily, obviously, this case was killing his kind.
The bot's shoulders sunk deeply in disappointment, and his ventilation systems whirred with a heavy breath out, a distracting flicker of red dancing over his vision. Connor only stiffened a moment. He couldn't let a minor glitch throw him off, after all.

"Hey, Pop?" Sans whispered, the little skeleton's eye-lights glimmering with hope and sadness all at once. Gaster's SOUL dropped before the boy could even speak, knowing that whatever he would say next was going to hurt. "Why doesn't Mum love me like you do?"
Predictably, his SOUL gave another pang, and the older skeleton breathed heavily in and out, despair clogging his ribcage and dulling his eye-lights. "She does, Sans." Slipped from him, from a natural wish to comfort his boy. "She loves you very much."
"... why don't I believe you?" Sans' expression was full of hurt, and this time, Gaster found himself lacking an answer.
