After they rescue you and bring you back to the surface, the dungeon you were in collapses. Mortals rediscover the goddess of joy and strength that had disappeared from their world so long ago, and old foes resurface. As you battle through trauma and the struggles of recovering from being isolated from the world, you come to learn of the status of the world through a talkative Sun and a mischievous Moon. Though you get the sense that they aren’t quite comfortable around you. Maybe a flower crown will help?

König's base in Vienna has collapsed and he was the last survivor. Price offered a transfer and König accepts and he arrives at Ghost's base to provide aid. The tensions are high, König wants to do a good job but Ghost is worried the Colonel will try to pull rank and run this base into the ground.
However, when a breach collapses part of the wall and leaves Simon buried beneath concrete, König steps into command without hesitation, and into a silence he isn’t built to carry alone.
Each night, he sits at Simon’s bedside, delivering reports, filling the quiet, and confessing feelings he assumes a half-conscious man can’t hear.
He’s wrong.

After being sorted into Slytherin Snape tries to care for Harry and help him but Harry continues to be terrified of the man. He can’t seem to figure out why.

She looked at one little family, a man twice her size tying the shoes of a girl around Emilio’s age. He was wearing a mask, but the way his eyes crinkled as the girl hugged him stirred up an ache in her chest. She wondered if her father ever looked at her like that.

Reader has to work three jobs while raising her younger brother since their dad sucks, task force 141 has been raising their daughter together. Their paths cross and Reader thinks having four dads would be way better than having less than one. Maybe she's not the only one that thinks that.

Which was hard when all humans made you frustrated to a degree.
Except the children. Oh the children. You knew they awakened the mama cat in you, bundling them up during nap time and purring as softly as you could through your currently human voice without actually revealing that you were doing it. You hid there, because you don’t think the company would take well to an old animatronic appearing out of nowhere that wasn't actually supposed to exist, yet was now suddenly…existing?
You had no idea that the daycare attendant you'd caught sight of a few times happened to be extra security for the huge building, but you quickly find that out late one night while sneaking around. At least being an animatronic meant you could try and run away, making something of a game out of being chased night after night, even if the daycare attendant got ever closer each time.

The community who was supposed to be so loving did not accept you. You were isolated from them, only ever showing your face during new arrivals. You held on to a thread of hope that one day, another would arise from the glowing yellow water and look like you.
During what was supposed to be the last new arrival of the season, you don't quite get exactly what you hoped for, but it was better than you could've imagined.

“Got stabbed… Shadow… something feels wrong…. it's so hot”
Your words came out sideways, head just above water as you struggled to stay with him. Soap could see the quakes that rocked beneath him, violent tremors rattling your sweat-soaked form. The wound wasn't deep but the torn skin was shaded sickly yellow with a hint of green along the edges, dark blood seeped lazily down the length of your hip and into a tacky stain down your cargos.
Steadily he reached down- fingertips just hovering over the bloodied flesh. You were burning up.
A fire seemed to radiate from the wound
It smelled like lingering saliva, potent morning breath that should only be spit.
Poison on the blade he thought grimly
“Bloody bastards”
