Releasing her with a simple “ok”, Jellie takes the first jump, and Scar pulls her around jump 2, towards the A-frame.
Getting a blind cross in front of an A-frame with a speedy dog is a difficult feat, but somehow he manages it, crossing to the other side just in time to cue the tunnel and catch up to her at the end of it, flicking her round an odd jump, and sending her flying across the dogwalk.

Scar and Grian are dog agility handlers, and are chosen to represent their team in the world championships. Scar is desperately pining for Grian, but is struggling with his touch aversion at the same time.

“Do you love me?” Cuteguy suddenly asked. The question sounded scary in concept, but in reality, if the answer was no, Grian had never had anything left to begin with. There was nowhere to go but up.

“Do you love me?” Cuteguy said louder, even more firmly, feeling Hotguy’s body tense against his anxiously. He wanted an answer, the answer was all that mattered. He needed to be sure, he needed to hear it. After everything he’d heard, he needed to hear this.

Based on DDVAU by Kitsuneisi and Maruu on tumblr, following chapter 15 Grian is in the hospital after an attack on the university he works at that led to him becoming possessed and revealed his identity as an undocumented avian. As a result of this he’s fired, leading to mental breakdown that leaves him unable to interact with others or take care of himself, closing himself off from the rest of the world, until one day he sees Hotguy on tv.

Tango cradled it like he saw Impulse had. It had a very strange weight to it. After all, it was very heavy for its size. And, if he stayed still enough, he could vaguely feel a small amount of movement.

“You were the only person who could help,” Impulse whispered, his voice pathetically wet as he carefully pulled the blankets back.

Summary
Scar is a vex hybrid that's definitely doing OK™ in his tiny little iron cage, in solitary confinement, in a hunter camp where hybrids such as himself are executed for sport and/or sold off for parts and exotic pets. Nope, no bad feelings here! Just vibes, a positive attitude, and the very pleasant company of him, himself and his (slowly deteriorating) thoughts to keep him company.
Things change with the sudden addition of a terrified yet strangely mysterious avian in what was meant to be a solitary tent. Not that Scar's protesting, but the little guy is... kinda weird. What sort of avian doesn't like to fly? What sort of avian hates being stared at? Why on earth is this guy so hyper-aware of his surroundings?
What's his deal?
Scar knows three things for certain: this guy is too intriguing, too mysterious, and too damn cute! Personally, Scar finds it a huge shame that they're both about to die so soon. He'd have loved to figure out this sardonic, feathery little bundle of mystery.
Oh. He wants Scar's help to bust out a jailbreak?
Well.

Scar has transferred to start his second year at Hermiton University of Craft and Engineering in London, ready to leave America behind. What he doesn’t expect is to recognise one of his fellow students from his flight –Grian, and his adorable cat.
Grian is back in England after a decade in the States, settling into business classes and hiding his cat in a dorm he technically shouldn’t have. Seeing his friends again is a breath of fresh air and meeting an attractive dude on his flight that happens to be attending the same university him was certainly a bonus.
With Scar adapting to the differences between America and England, and Grian finally feeling at home after ten years, the two grow close.
But not everything can be a fairy tale.

With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
Something goes wrong. The crown is split during Narinder's defeat, splitting the power between him and the Lamb.
Narinder keeps a portion of his godhood, and the Lamb finds that abilities they had access to before are no longer possible: Healing is cut short. Powers are halved. And there is a very real chance of perma-death, as the ability to resurrect is not possible without full power, and the God of Death is not cooperative.
Afterlife and Purgatory are not options either. Dying means erasure. Gone.Lambert knows Narinder grows stronger by the day, crown or not, and yet keeps him spared as they try to figure out how to complete their own goals. Narinder vows vengeance on the lamb for usurping him. After a few unsuccessful murder attempts, he's in for the long haul. It is only a matter of time before the Lamb's guard is down before he can strike, and The One Who Waits is very patient. When a mystic being demands they save the bishops from purgatory, an alliance is in order.
Except...the lamb's actions and their presence begin to unlock abilities within the God of Death he didn't know he had prior to his imprisonment, among other fickle things, like emotions. The prophecy didn't warn him of that part.
