Wemmbu wouldn’t have to go out and wonder if he would make it out of the next war.Egg wouldn’t have to worry about his best friend never coming back. Possibly getting banned for the server and leaving Eggchan stuck in the end for all of eternity.
Wemmbu never saw Eggchan again.

Wemmbu has never thought of romance as more of a childish selfish fantasy, especially in a place like this, where chaos and bloodshed ruled with an iron fist.
Now as he sits right next to Flamefrags, his long-time enemy/rival, planning a marriage he wants no part in. His marriage - a small part of Wemmbu's mind reminds him. Isn't that a strange thought? Wemmbu, the terrorist, is getting married.
The universe has some sick sense of humor.
His eyes flicker lazily around the room, in his hands, the details of their marriage contract. Lettuce is standing in the other side of the desk, looking incredibly smug. Wemmbu feels his blood boiling, wishing for a second that he was powerful enough to wipe that grin off the other man's face. Instead, Wemmbu's eyes flicker to their rival, at least, Flame looks as uncomfortable as Wemmbu. It's a poor consolation prize but is better than nothing.
Or, an AU where instead of execution, Lettuce uses an unconventional method to have the two strongest player under his control.
(Lost cause duo or Imperial fire duo is not romantic here, I swear)

Wemmbu realizes after being the Invisible Knight, that he.. doesn't want to be the strongest, doesn't want to feel like he has to prove himself anymore. He wants to live— Like really live. And this server might just be his chance at a true fresh start.
Thats right, this server is outdated, they don't have some of the things he's grown used to.. They dont even have dog armor yet!
..Or Maces..
Wemmbu turns over Gambit in his hand. Well that just makes things more interesting.

Summary
There’s not as fine of a line between Overworld vs. Non-Overworld beings as most humans think. Being familiar with most humanoid creatures in the Nether, they like to assume that everything follows the same guidelines. Wemmbu and Eggchan are two beings that tend to defy that logic of thinking quite a bit.
Wemmbu is not human. Neither is Eggchan. When the two of them live on the Overworld with no reference to go off of, it makes it significantly harder for either of them to know what is considered ‘normal’ human behavior.

Wemmbu nodded once, sharp and quick.
"Good. Sit. I'll make something."
Wemmbu perched at the table, sitting on the edge of the chair like he might need to bolt at any second. His tail curled around the chair leg. He watched as Egg moved around the kitchen, his movements practiced and easy. Those wings shifted constantly, feathers rustling with each motion, and Wemmbu couldn't stop staring at the way they framed his head like a halo. Or a crown. Or something.
The hidden jaws behind Egg's central eye-like marking clicked softly as he worked—the sound of eating, maybe, or just existing—and though Wemmbu couldn't see them clearly, he could hear them. It should have been unsettling. Everything about Egg should have been unsettling.
But it wasn't.

This was, without a doubt, the worst day of his entire existence.
Wemmbu had experienced a lot of terrible things in his time on this server. He'd been hunted, betrayed, blown up more times than he could count. He’d helped to defeat the Mafia. He destroyed PrinceZam Empire.
But this? This took the cake.
Because he was a cat.
A gods-damned, four-legged, fuzzy little cat.
Wemmbu shook himself violently, water flying from his curled ears—and yeah, those were new and weird and he hated them—and tried to piece together what the hell had happened.

But the damage is done, and Manepear has already painted himself as untrustworthy. So, Wemmbu flies hard and fast away from Manepear’s treehouse.
He looks down at the low ding of his communicator pinging.
A singular message from Manepear.
“You’re a lost cause.”

Then they sharpened.
"Oh, Fuck off," Wemmbu snarled, claws extending immediately. His tail whipped defensive despite how it trembled with effort.
"Bro, what the hell happened?"
"None of your business." Wemmbu's voice was venomous even through the obvious pain. "Leave."
"You're literally dying against a tree."
"Not dying." Wemmbu bared his teeth. "And even if I was, last person I'd want finding me is you."
Flame moved closer anyway, trying to assess the damage. The wounds were deep, too deep. And that blood—the purple was getting darker by the second. "Let me see—"
Wemmbu's hand shot out, claws fully extended and aimed at Flame's throat. "Touch me and I'll rip your throat out."
