Her initial enthusiasm turns to horror when she learns she’ll be expected to go undercover in a San Diego high school and, worse, to join their cheerleading squad in an attempt to discover who or what is behind the evil attaching itself to the sport.
Buffy’s happy to focus on being a Freshman and finds Faith’s assignment hilarious. Or she does until she learns more about the blonde squad captain who’s taking up a little too much of Faith’s time…
Written to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the best teen movie ever. And much love to @thisyearsgrrl for the best BtVS / BiO crossover story in history. And to @shisumo for the title!

Change is coming to Dorley Hall. Slowly, and with a great deal of complaining, but it is coming nonetheless. While they are still a long way from being a 'charitable' organisation, the selection process is becoming more... particular about what kind of boy finds themself waking up in one of those small, concrete cells.
Seen primarily through the eyes of one of these boys, this is a look at a (slightly) less coercive Dorley, and an intake that is a little different from those previous.
This story remains canon-faithful through book 4, and is set three years ahead of the original work so minor spoilers occur from chapter 2 onwards. It does also inevitably get a little dark on occasion, which shouldn't come as much of a surprise to Dorley readers. In general it's much nicer than the Dorley in the original story, though. I wonder why that might be the case?Main Content Warning: This story, like its parent novels, contains polyamorous relationships, graphic violence, bad language, sexually suggestive scenes, characters using slurs, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, criminal activity, non-consensual medical intervention, religious trauma and various other traumatic scenes.

And worse still, he's been a menace to the nerdy girls of the Royal College of Saint Almsworth since he arrived. He is, by all accounts, a incel. He's on a downward spiral which is slowly killing his future. He's dropping classes, and his smarts are going to waste in a downwards spiral that will ultimately lead him nowhere. He has failed as a man. There is a answer though. Unfortunately for his current existence, that answer is the secret basement under Dorley Hall, where bad boys become good girls, whether they like it or not.
In Alan's case, Space isn't the Final Frontier. But that Frontier will still be made in a basement. Just not a Hollywood one.

Summary
Our favorite closeted trans girl avoids blabbing to Christine about her theories on Dorley hall. She manages to avoid the basement that night to see another sunrise. Unfortunately reality comes crashing down on Steph and she falls apart. This gets her noticed by Dorley Hall, and she ends up in the basement anyways. This time, her spirit has been shattered and she has none of the information as to the true intentions of the hall.
Each chapter will show a different PoV as we follow the progression of this broken girl. We will follow their attempts to figure out what's going on under that shell and save her from herself.
