“Teach me how to do that.” Miraculously, her voice remained steady. The man, Lord Voldemort, stared at her for a few moments before laughing delightedly, taking her chin in his hand gently.
“I will teach you so much more than that, little one.” His voice had an odd accent to it and she realized he was talking in the same language they talked to the snake with. Parseltongue, he said it was.
Little one. It almost sounded, however impossible it seemed, fond. She felt her heart flutter and leaned into his hand without really meaning to. It was soft and didn’t hurt. No one had ever touched her or talked to her like that before.
Holly already felt herself yearning for more. Longing to make him proud.
She was right. Her life would never be the same again.

Teen Wolf canon diverges after season 6/post canon. MCU is a bit of random things I like while ignoring things I don’t care to include. Superheroes are known, but the supernatural world is not.

All Might had saved him from the sludge villain, but in the aftermath had been cold and borderline rude. His job was to save people and be the pillar people relied on, and he was good at his job in that aspect, but he obviously didn’t think he had much of an obligation besides that.
Stain, too, had saved him, after All Might’s idiocy had gotten him into deep shit. But that wasn’t his job. And afterwards, he had been understanding and almost, dare he say, encouraging. The man had murdered people, Izuku knew that. But, he seemed to have much more solid goals than All Might did.
What Had the world come to?
(Or All Might decided to Re-transform before leaving the roof and it fucked shit up)

Summary
When Harry finds an injured Snape on his doorstep and must hide him from the Dursleys, he has no idea that this very, very bad day will be the start of something good.
Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

Pissing off Death is never good idea - really, Bryony can't fault him for sending her to Earth right next to a corpse just before Police arrive... with their... consultant? A magical creature going by the name Lucifer Morningstar; not the most inconspicuous, but Bryony's name is so well-known, she's not really in a position to cast stones.
What's far more interesting, however, is that he's unlike anyone she ever met - he's honest, playful, kind, genuine, concerned, and... well, he's like her. He's immortal. Not that her heart flutters, or anything, at the kindness and effortless empathy he shows her, and it's not like she gets flustered when he laughs, openly and without restraint, when he winks or flirts with her. Nope. Not like that at all. (And it's not like she wishes she'd pissed off Death a century earlier, just so she could have met Lucifer sooner).
