Summary
The Inquisition disbanded, a small group, consisting of Divine Victoria (Leliana), her Right-Hand (Cassandra), Scout Harding and the former Inquisitor, plan secretly to continue the fight. Wanting to recruit Cullen to their cause, Leliana instructs Kai to seek a resolution to the situation between her and Cullen, to enable them to work together.
However, as Kai and Cullen discover, reaching a resolution is only the beginning of the challenges they, along with their friends, must face.

Summary
One year after the defeat of Corypheus, the Inquisition mounts an expedition to the Frostback Basin. With the ever increasing demands of the Inquisition affording them little time to be together, Kai asks Cullen to come along on what is anticipated to be a straightforward mission, to close some rifts, aid with research into the last Inquisitor and build an alliance with the Avvar. It is a chance to spend time with each other before Cullen is away for a few months.
As events unfold, secrets come to light, and repercussions of the past threaten not only the Inqusition, but Kai and Cullen's relationship as well.
