Percy doesn’t check behind him as he weaves through the aisles of the flower shop, not even when someone yells at him to stop running — no thanks! —, but he soon realizes it was a very bad idea to run inside because now he’s looking at a wall filled with flower arrangements and no way out.
There’s sounds of running steps behind him and he grabs a vase of flowers before turning back around, ready to throw it at the crazy woman who tried to say she’s his mom, only to spot her stopping a few feet away from him with a pained gasp — there’s something shiny sliding right through the middle of her chest — and then exploding into golden dust.

Suddenly, Agamemnon reached into a heavy chest that lay nearby. The room went silent as they stared, and something made Odysseus' heart drip to his stomach. The feeling of pure fear of what the man could possibly be pulling out, something he had not felt since the beginning of the war. Odysseus knew in his heart that this couldn't be good.
Agamemnon gripped something, and with a sickening smirk yanked it out forcefully.
All Odysseus saw was white sheets wrapped around something small, and he didn't even realise he was moving before he heard the cry of a babe.

I have ideas and often they're not too bad - lunatic self-insertion fics that are exercises in pretending I'm capable of more awesome than I really am aside - but I know I don't have the ability to either write them out properly or don't have a plot, just a lot of worldbuilding.
These are those ideas.

Summary
Anakin can't control the Force very well at all. The Jedi seem to think everything he does with it is wrong, even just existing, really. Everyone complains that he's loud in the Force, that is, until he's put under Force suppression. It makes him ill, but it doesn't completely remove his ability to use the Force, and it gets him praise for better control. But when it wears off, he's once again scolded for lacking it.
So a 12 year old Anakin who can't seem to make any friends, in part due to Yoda's well meaning meddling that would have been fine if he was creche raised, modifies a pair of Force suppressant binders and wears them constantly from that point forward.
Obi-Wan is praised for teaching him so well.
