Hiccup's attempt to sneak away during the opening minutes of Race To The Edge: Season 3 Episode 1 fails, and he and Toothless end up accompanied by Astrid and Stormfly on their 'scouting' mission. They find something entirely unlike a Dragon Hunter ship... or rather, it finds (and wipes the walls with) them.
The next thing the two of them know, they're waking up in a strange metal prison cell on a boat somehow deep underwater, a boat heading for an impossible city hidden beneath the waves. Alarming, yes, but not a worst-case scenario. They've been in plenty of worse predicaments already... or so they thought.
As it turns out, this city is owned and operated by Frank Grimborn, an estranged brother to the same Viggo Grimborn who got the better of Hiccup several months ago.
