Summary

Summary
James would describe his life in one word, and that was cozy. His life was the opposite of hectic; he ran a flower store, tucked into the nicer parts of his city (which was surprising, given that London was typically a very unsafe area), he had friends to surround him and a cat that would anticipate his arrival all day, every day, waiting for him to finish his shifts.
Will, on the other hand, wouldn’t. His life summed into one word, he’d decided, was buzzing. A tattoo artist never had an easy job, really; he was yelled at near-daily despite the pretty perfect tattoos he’d ink onto people's skin. Despite his over-the-top caffeine consumption, he had a steady hand and an eye perfect for tuning in on finer details.
Will was James’ favourite regular. James was Will’s favourite not-so-regular.
OR
James owns a flower store, Will's a tattoo artist. James gets his tattoos done by Will, who just so happens to frequent James' flower store to buy flowers for his girlfriend.

Summary
Castiel Shurley doesn’t understand why an engineering major keeps showing up in his upper-level creative writing classes. He knows part of having a liberal arts education is taking things outside of your major, but who takes 400-level English courses for fun? And even more galling, his classmates keep gushing about his short stories. You would think Dean Winchester is the next Isaac Asimov.
Then Castiel finally gets assigned to peer edit one of Dean’s short stories… and he recognizes it. To be fair, it’s a great story. Too bad Dean didn’t write it. He stole it, lifted straight from a fanfic, with the serial numbers barely filed off.

Summary

General Blade’s expression shifts, the mirth disappearing. There’s a tightness around his eyes. One of his ears flicks. The man is suddenly as readable as a brick wall. “‘Severely underutilized’,” he repeats slowly.
It’s the most tactful way they could come up with to phrase what they were all thinking without sugar coating the situation, but Phil knows that, effectively, he’s just criticized (insulted) the wisdom of General Blade. General Blade, a pioneer in the art of warfare, the greatest military mind in living memory—a renowned, respected warrior.
And Phil is just a captain who’s extremely fortunate to have landed this private audience with the General in the first place.
Oh, skies have fucking mercy. Phil swallows. “That’s right, sir.”

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
