Vlad Masters seemed to be walking in their general direction.
No, Danny wasn't panicking, he had no reason to believe Vlad Masters was walking in their direction to talk to them. Hazel was a great person, but she was likely as unimportant as him (to someone like Vlad Masters, at least). "So, what do we do if he comes to talk to us?"
Hazel looked at him like she couldn't believe was he was saying, because she likely couldn't. "He won't." She assured. "If he does, I'm committing suicide."
Danny laughed, "He's not that bad. Probably. I don't know him."
"Probably," she agreed, "But I will be."

OR: Vlad doesn't host the college reunion, he doesn't get involved at all. Danny finds out his parents were besties with billionaire Vlad Masters after he gets called for an internship at DALVCo. Vlad's company.

Rumi gripped the edges of the stool, her knuckles white. Don't look too deep, she thought fiercely.
"Oh, I see, I see, but that is my job, girl. I see your mother’s fine intellect, a thirst for truth that would lead you straight toward Ravenclaw. But I see more. I see a fierce loyalty, almost... primordial. And I see ambition. The ambition to succeed where others fail.”
A part of her began to feel annoyed, not appreciating that intrusion. The Hat seemed to flinch.
“Alright, alright, I understand. But don't be like that. I know where to put you… Yes… it better be…”

Summary
What if, instead of just glimpsing gold at their performance of “How It’s Done”, they turned the entire Honmoon gold. They did jump out of a plane without parachutes after all, it's hard to beat that.
Unfortunately, the golden Honmoon did NOT rid Rumi of her patterns.
Now Rumi has a few things on her checklist.
One: Confront Celine. The patterns aren't gone like she said they would be.
Two: Tell her girls. Now that her only hope of getting rid of her patterns has been dashed, they need to know. If these marks are permanent, she can't hide them from Mira and Zoey forever.
Three: Tell Bobby, hopefully with help from her girls. If the patterns keep spreading like they have her whole life, eventually clothing isn't going to be able to hide them. Bobby is the only one she can trust to help her do damage control.
As usual, things never go to plan.

Red piercing eyes glowed in the dark, staring at her. Lips were glistening wet from blood. A vampire – great.
Instantly, Rumi raised her sword in defence. But surprisingly, the vampire didn’t attack immediately.
Instead she slowly stood up and turned around to face the huntress.
“Huh…” the vampire said, eying Rumi’s silver sword. “Haven’t seen one of you in a while.”
Her voice was raspy and low. She didn’t sound intimidated, if anything she sounded mildly bored.
Rumi examined her opponent more closely. The other woman was taller than her and she had sharp facial features. Long pink hair fell openly over her shoulders.
Without the blood on her lips, she could easily pass as a cover girl of any fashion magazine.
“And I was actually looking for someone else.” She answered.
Rumi pointed with her sword at the body on the ground.
“You haven’t seen the werewolf that did this, by any chance?” She asked the vampire.

Fugaku Uchiha had an Aunt and now Itachi knows about her. That meant that any possible surviving Uchiha were in danger. Just the kind of mission for Team 7, if there was a Team 7 at the moment. Recalling Naruto wasn't an issue and he could use the experience outside of the Elemental Nations but they were hardly going to send Sasuke a message when he was with Orochimaru. So someone else did for them.
