After Chris leaves, people treat him like a grieving father. Which, maybe he is, and on some level he’s grateful for the mutual agreement to not leave him to his thoughts in that awful, awful empty house. But God is it a lot. He remembers this treatment after he got shot, but this is different. Eddie deserves this pain. This is because of his own fuck-ups.
And it’s not like he’s going to do anything drastic, he’s not—he had his meltdown, a few years ago, and he’s not like that any more. He’s better.
