Summary
“Congratulations on getting nine out of ten questions correct! Without further ado, let’s move on to the last question..” Hanazawa paused for dramatic effect as the lights dimmed and the spotlights overhead honed in on their podiums.
“What is … your hero partner’s type?”
A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.
--
In order to increase their popularity rankings as up and coming pro heroes, Izuku and Katsuki participate in the most popular late night talk show for hero duos - ‘Heroes Rising!’. They’re killing it, obviously, because they know each other from inside and out. Until one question stumps the two of them: “What is your hero partner’s type?”

Just as cold, Jabber takes them both to find a shelter for warmth until they can get back to their own headquarters. While surviving together, they learn more about each other and develop feelings that barely cross the line of obsession.
Or
Zanka and Jabber go to a cabin in a forest whilst a snow blizzard is actively happening. Then they fall in love as they learn to survive with each other.

In the wake of this treachery, her survival depends on a figure who becomes a mentor in the nuances of a life lived on the run.

“Tap out.”
Jabber says nothing this time, but doesn’t tap out either. He is uncharacteristically silent. Zanka looks at him then, really looks. Even fucked up, Jabber is unfairly beautiful. Jabber flutters his long, long lashes at Zanka, gaze laser-focused on him as he swirls his own blood in his mouth. Then spits it out.
Right. Into. Zanka’s. Face.
“No.”
Zanka is on him like a wild dog before he can even finish the word.
Or; Zanka's got an itch and Jabber can scratch it. What else is there to say?

Stuck deep underground, who knows where, without even being able to find out which time it was or have a proper source of light. Zanka was having the worst day of his life, it seemed.
“But wait, it gets even worse,” his life probably thought with sick glee right before Zanka caught a sight of– something glowing in the distance. He squinted to see it better.“Enjoyed your nap?” Jabber's voice reached him just as his face gained features in the dark.
;
OR, Zanka gets trapped deep underground after a mission gone wrong. His only company is Jabber, who he would rather not see in a million years, who is the reason for the entire mess, who... acts confusing?Bookmarked by cum_here

Summary
He’s never hard by the end of their fights the way Jabber is. He doesn’t get off on pain and exertion and humiliation the way the Raider does. He’s not the one who stays revved and ready to go (Jabber’s words), approaching every battle as his next fix.
No, what gets Zanka off is the momentary shudder of submission that runs down Jabber’s spine when he’s pinned beneath the Cleaner. The way that crazed look in his eyes gets a little more focused, like he’s finally aware that consequences are around the corner.
OR
Zanka fucks Jabber in the rubble of yet another battle of theirs. No matter how hard he tries to make Jabber hate it, he always hates it even more.

“So you see why I need this,” Jabber says breathily, taking in your repulsion to him. “I need you to do more to me this time. Way more.” He shamelessly adjusts his pants in front of you, and you’re no fool to be oblivious to what he’s getting out of this.
“I’ve been waiting to see you,” He adds. “I’ve missed you.”
What the fuck kind of psychological trick was this? You couldn’t stand it. You were fighting to survive here, but for him, he saw it as a game?

You're an unsure rookie cleaner facing off Jabber in the trash beast.

Summary
In a world where heroes are celebrated for their image as much as their actions. Izuku Midoriya, once a bright-eyed teen dreaming of saving lives, is drawn into a far grittier conflict. When the Central Asian Alliance calls for international volunteers to fight in their brutal war against the Renewed Soviet Republic, he answers, hoping to become a real hero.
But what he finds is not glory. It’s war. A frozen battlefield of collapsing empires, weaponized quirks, and moral ambiguity. In this shattered world, survival matters more than symbols, and justice often comes at the barrel of a gun. As ideals fracture under fire, Izuku must decide what kind of hero he truly wants to be… or whether heroism even exists here at all.
