In accordance with the acknowledgement of a new humanoid species named and identified within the past year, known as Demi Humans, the US government has officially approved laws of recognition of their rights, allowing them to live their usual lives alongside humankind.
The decision seems to be in response to the recent bomb threat in Japan, where an autonomous and illegal group consisting of Demi Humans who almost set the nation in chaos in order for their constitutional rights to be made and acknowledged.
Taking the nation as an example, the US court has adopted new rules for these Demi Humans, which states that any and all Demi Humans within the US must be registered and adhere to strict rules, especially when it comes to wearing government issued armbands in public in order to identify their identities.

Frank grips the sides of the sink and forces himself to look in the mirror. The damage is minimal- especially when compared to what his scrub top is hiding. There’s a long cut on his brow from where the broken bottle had rebounded off the wall and caught him in the face. And a swollen purple bruise under his jaw. In the back of the ambulance, Eddie was in the middle of rechecking vitals for the injured patient when he suddenly heard the sirens stop wailing, immediately jolting up from what he was doing. “What the hell…?”
When Eddie looked up he saw the glint off the metal of the gun the guard with him was holding, gaze instantly locking onto the threat. His hands over the patient stilled, and his eyes narrowed into a glare. It was made worse when he recognized the eyes he was glaring into, his anger too strong for his rising panic to bother him at all.
“Hey there, Eddie.” The man grinned, taking his hat off as the disguise was no longer doing him any good. “Miss me?”
