Summary
“Techno I thought you said-” Tommy pulled the door open and immediately stopped. Instead of ruby red eyes like he expected, it was a pair of blue that looked down at him. A pair of eyes that looked exactly like his own. His heart plummeted to his stomach as he took a step back.
The figure in the doorway seemed in shock as well.
“Phil?”
“Tommy,” Phil breathed out almost reverently. Then, before the boy could blink, Phil stepped into the cabin and two arms were wrapping around him. “You’re okay.”
Hesitantly, Tommy reached up and grabbed the back of his father’s coat. Guilt and uncertainty swirled in his stomach, rising up and churning all the emotions he had been pushing down the past few weeks. His heart begun to race. Odd, wasn’t he supposed to be happy that his father was holding him? Wasn’t there supposed to be tendrils of joy seeing Phil after weeks of staying at Technoblade’s cabin?
Why did he only feel empty inside?
“Tommy, I’m so happy to see-”
“Why are you here?”

His only solace in his isolation from his old friends was being able to fly in secret at night (unbeknownst to Dream, who refused to let him do much of anything fun, let alone use his wings). Tommy's wings, one of the only things he has that Dream doesn't.
Until Dream catches him flying.
And rips them off.

Desperate yowling cut through the night, accompanied by infrequent clanging. Shouta paused on the rooftop he had been running across and tried to determine the direction of the sound. Most likely a stray cat or some other animal. Shouta liked cats, and to a lesser extent all animals, so he wasn’t about to just leave it struggling. The poor thing could be hurt.
Soon enough, he tracked the commotion to a street that was starkly unpopulated at this time of night. The noise originated from some vending machines next to a bus stop, lit up by the soft glow of a streetlight. Shouta raised an eyebrow at the small rear end sticking out of the little door that the snacks dropped down into. Was that… a toddler? Out here? At this hour?
