Summary
The girls are enjoying their well-deserved vacation after the movie, but Rumi is acting strangely. One time it seems like she's flirting with an appreciative Mira, then she breaks down into tears after a simple question from Zoey, then she completely loses herself in the joy over her birthday party - it seems like all of her emotions are getting out of control now that she is not repressing her demon side anymore. Her subtly glowing patterns at these times indicate that demonic influence might be involved. How will Huntrix deal with something that will probably affect both of their professions? Will they be forced to turn to the one person Rumi doesn't want to interact with for help?

And that was the thing, wasn't it.

Or: HUNTR/X works towards sealing the Honmoon and falls in love along the way. Pre-reveal Rumi, hiding both her patterns and her wants, loves her girls in whatever way she can until she's free (whether that means shielding Mira and Zoey in fights or pretending to be something she's not). Summary
“Mira, why isn’t she disappearing?”
Warm blood leaked from where Mira’s gok-do had been thrust through her chest. It was the only warmth Rumi still felt. Her fingers had gone numb, and her skin had lost its pallor as it turned a chalky white, all color fading from it except for the patterns that lined every surface of her body. Those only grew more stark with the contrast. Rumi forced herself to look away from them. She didn’t want her last moments to be spent staring at her own imperfections.
Things play out differently backstage at the Idol Awards, and Huntr/x's comeback is put on indefinite leave.

Summary
Rumi had learned a long time ago that her body was… more resilient than the average human. She wasn't invincible. Her body still bent and broke and popped and bled in an irritatingly human way sometimes. However she tended to heal at a supernatural rate. A broken arm healed in a matter of minutes. A gash closed over in a handful of seconds. The honmoon helped to speed up the healing of its hunters, but not to this level. Not to this extreme.
Still, the first time Rumi gets hit by a bus she is immensely grateful that 1) it is her and not one of her girls that was hit, 2) her demon healing has already started to repair her snapped spine as she careens through the air and 3) that Zoey and Mira are still in the alley way and won't have to watch this happen.
