That is until one day, as he looked at one of the statues depicting said god and past Emperor, blinked back at him.

Years pass and The Emperor takes in an Enderman Hybrid as his own, The Artic Prince who is tired of his father only being remembered as the one who ended all misery and the great battles he had won.

Technoblade remembered the day he arrived. How the rocking of the boat did nothing to simulate that of a caring mother lulling her spawn to slumber.
His wrists had still burned from where he ripped off the blades from his skin, and the scar on his belly ached as if it was fresh. He didn’t care where the boat would take him, Technoblade just hoped it was far away from home, or what once was home.
He didn’t need any more reminders of what he lost there, the ashes of his mother, brother, and sister coated his skin.

God is killed, brutally and swiftly, by something of the same lineage. The final Angel in the sky brings the Heavens down with it when it falls. The Blood God and the Angel of Death walk the earth, watching kingdoms fall and lands scorch themselves before their divinity could hope to touch it, before flame might even exist. They watch this broken Earth develop, lost with only a dead God to guide it.
Technoblade and Philza do not claim to be as they are named. They do not deny it, either.
And history always repeats. Trying to execute a God rarely works.

Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other.
He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.
