[A/N] From this chapter forward, what I've posted is no longer canon, since I'm changing the ending back to the one I originally intended for the story. Summary
Conrad DeWitt is on his way home from a night shift when he is kidnapped by two strangers, forced into a van headed god knows where. Initially hoping he can spare himself from unwanted trouble by keeping his head down, Conrad tries to comply - until he realizes exactly what they have in mind for him. By then, his captors have already gone far past the point of no return. They're in it for the money, and they have no intention of sparing him from pain to get it.
