Dumb lives like any other person, the only difference being the fact he no longer bothered to try and fill his life with new faces.
That changes when a person who looks familiar is forced into his life by falling from the sky, and they go down a rabbit hole to try and figure out why the other feels like they've been there since the beginning.
One a devil, one an angel, they both clash for different reasons, yet both can't bring themselves to leave the other's side.
OR...Dumb and Stormz forget each other for a reason neither remembers, and meeting each other again resparks a flame that gradually burns away the two-sided veil between them. One side burning faster than the other.

Sharpness bristled, his feathers fluffing in irritation despite the fresh wave of pain it caused. “Fix me?” he squawked back in offense.
“Ugh- not like that-” Jude began, his face flushing even deeper as he tripped over his words. Anxiously, he pulled on one of his long rabbit ears. “It’s just… I talked to Falconu and, um, I noticed your wings were bothering you and… and I-thought-I-could-help-you-groom-them.”
Sharpness's brain buffered as he struggled to keep up with Jude's words. When he finally did, his cheeks exploded with heat, coloring pink to match Jude's.
“What?”

Jude helps Sharpness groom his wings.

Stormz almost wishes he didn't wake up.
Wishes he didn't wake up because he can't keep living like this— not really living, just kind of surviving. Truthfully, he doesn't think that he's ever really been living, or at least he knows that he wasn't before he met his best friend in the whole wide world. Now, he's semi-living. With his friend, it's a lot better, but that only means that it's a lot worse when he doesn't have them by his side.
Almost, because of his aforementioned best friend.

Stormz is suffering from depression but Dumb is here to comfort and care for him throughout it all!

Something rooted deeply in his chest, almost like grief was wrapping his organs with its vines, entwined with his blood vessels. A feeling that bloomed in his chest the more he thought about it, a mixture of regret and shame that he couldn’t be up to Stormz’s expectations, a silent sense of doubt that Stormz even saw him as anything more than a tool to begin with.

“Answer my question Judelow.” Sharp demanded as he grabbed Judes wrist.
“Leave me alone Sharpness!” Jude demanded as he tugged against Sharp's grip
He could feel a lump of petals in his throat. He needed to get away from Sharpness as soon as possible. But Sharp's grip stayed strong even through Jude's struggling
“Are you still upset about the betrayal?”
Judes eyes began to water, his throat filling up with petals. He began coughing before he could help it. Petals flooded out of his mouth, along with blood. Sharpness swiftly let go of his wrist. Watching in shock. And as the coughing died down, Sharp spoke.
“What the hell… What the fuck is this Jude?” Sharp worriedly asked.
Jude stared at him for a second. His vision was blurred, and it was hard to breathe. He knew he needed to get out of here, but his body rejected the idea of doing so.
“Are you okay?” Sharp questioned, with a softer voice this time.
Jude waited to catch his breath from the sudden petal attack before responding.
