"A carbonite slab was lashed to the wall to keep it from falling. The being inside appeared to be a male human or near human around the same age as Din. Their face was almost peaceful unlike most beings encased in carbonite. There also appeared to be grievous wounds in the chest, gut, and upper left thigh. The slab was older and not as sleek as the kind Din once used. A quick check of the being's vital signs showed whoever this was still lived--if barely. Din pulled up the being's chain code on the data display, and froze.
The read out clearly stated: Jaster Mereel."
Or Din finds a "collectible" art piece that turns out to be a thought dead once Mand'alor.

But they weren't ready for when the Faro robots went rogue, and Project Scale was quickly dismissed, leaving the fifty alone for a thousand years, abandoned to the elements.
Until the Eclipse finds their hidden nest, where one awakens to bring chaos into the world.
Aloy doesn't know what to make of the mysterious creature that her Focus says is a wyvern. She's never heard of it, never found anything in the Embrace relating to it. It just appeared in her life, breathing fire on the people who took Rost away from her.
Maybe, these two lost souls can help each other.

Given that he might have the answer to breaching their base, Aloy must travel to the Burning Shores to find him and a way to save her kidnapped sister. She's expecting it to be like her other jobs, a quick in-and-out with no fuss. But when she arrives, she meets the fragmented other half of Alva's fleet. Between the complicated Quen politics and the ever-present threat of Londra, Aloy finds herself at a dangerous impasse as she uncovers the truth about why the Zenith tore away from his counterparts.
In the center of all the chaos and uncertainty, however, is a stunningly beautiful Quen marine who makes Aloy question everything she's ever known about herself along the way. Forced to work together to stop Londra and find the missing Quen, Aloy discovers there's more to this elusive warrior than meets the eye.

When Aloy stole her way into the Forbidden West, she hadn’t truly taken heed of the warnings she’d been given about how wild the people are, and how vicious. After all, the Nora, of the so-called ‘Savage East’ had hardly been the people the Carja and Oseram made them out to be and she felt no reason to assume any of the bizarre rumours she’d heard had any basis in fact. The Utaru had no interest in her and barely spared her a glance as she passed through their land – but the Tenakth were another story.
No longer a one-shot about Aloy crossing into the Forbidden West early and her attempt to recapture AETHER.

After running out of leads on GAIA backups after the Zenith launch facility, Aloy and Varl join Talanah and her thrush Milu on a hunt in Jewel near the Eclipse's former base only to discover a Zero Dawn facility with not only a new lead but also two of the Alphas sealed into cryostasis; Elisabet Sobeck and Ayomide Okilo.
The ensuring adventure leads the Gaia Gang into the Forbidden West to track down a Gaia backup and the AI’s subordinate functions uncovering mysteries of the past and present and contending with threats such as the Tenakth civil war and one from beyond the stars.
This story is my take of the story of Horizon: Forbidden West, one of my favourite games of all time.
