“The True History of the Gem War”, also known as “The Book of Rose Quartz” and “The Time Before the Flood” is one of the most intriguing and controversial works of ancient Near Eastern mythology and history known to modern scholars. Traditionally, “The True History” is said to have been discovered by famed Anglish explorer and cataloguer Buddy Buckwick in 1762, while he was exploring ancient ruins in North Africa. Though only six thousand words, arranged into seven tablets, “The True History” appeared to be a syncretic approach to ancient Mesopotamian myth and legend, weaving together elements of “The Epic of Gilgamesh” and the heretical Biblical “Book of Enoch” into a narrative of a ‘War in Heaven’ or ‘Angelic Rebellion’. The text also included clear references to the Egyptian pantheon, and to other ancient Hebrew texts and Mesopotamian legends, and was written in a creole of Aramaic and Hebrew.

Three month went by, after Aziraphale went to Heaven for becoming an archangel. During this time Crowley and Muriel had become used to each others company in the book shop. Out of nowhere a delegation of angels appears in the shop, including Aziraphale. First it’s all business talk about the Second Coming. But after the whole show can start, there has to be a long overdue talking between the archangel and the demon...
After that, the traveling through time starts again and we meet a very important person, who clears up some details about the Second Coming...and the searching for the right child...or Teenager...or adult…starts again...It is some kind of a script, or whatever, or how I would write a script, I picture it as a kind of reading, when the Team comes together and the author shares his ideas with the actors. I don‘t know much about script-writing…my stage directions are way to much detailed, but in case that no one is ever filming this, I want to picture it for you, as if you see it on television and bring all characters, we all love so much, and maybe one or two more, to life in my weird version of Good Omens 3!
