Thira, a low-level thief living on the run, has her life turned upside down when she stumbles upon a demon in the middle of a heist. He's alluring, and when he offers her power, she knows she can't refuse. But as their relationship turns from one of convience to something much more intimate, Thira beings to realize that Zephyr is not who he says he is, and that he may not even feel the same way about her that she does about him.
(A short story I wrote as background for a D&D campaign, and I think it holds up, so here it is)

A story of a stray child unwittingly consuming the flesh of god and becoming something entirely new.
