“Tony's such an attention seeker, isn't he?” Loki startled, scratching the pencil on the paper too far while sketching the mane. He cursed softly and looked up to see a man dressed in casual clothes and a jacket with the zoo logo. “Sorry. Not many people visit in this weather.” He hummed thoughtfully.
The man had long-ish golden hair and honey tanned skin. He looked a bit like a lion Loki was drawing. His demeanor was calm and he looked at Loki with calculating, blue eyes. There was a welcoming smile on his lips, though. He was… easy on the eyes, to say at least.
“You're a zookeeper.”
“And you're an artist.”
_OR: When Hela forced Loki to get therapy, he didn't expect to end up in a zoo where a very pretty zookeeper works. He also didn't expect to see the man more than once, nor did he expect to have to come face to face with his own demons (and his estranged brother Thor).

After the invasion of New York, Tony would have loved nothing more than to never see that pretentious God and his arrogant smirk ever again. Just knowing Loki was rotting away in chains far away on Asgard was good enough for him.
Apparently, though, it wasn't good enough for Odin.
But just because the devious God of Mischief now loomed beneath the roof of Avengers Tower, brooding miserably in his cell, didn't mean that Tony actually had to acknowledge him and talk to him, did it?

With his magic bound and his body in a near-mortal state he is tortured until he breaks and then tortured again. Finally Nick Fury is made aware of the situation and he turns to everyone's favorite billionaire: Tony Stark. And that's how Tony is suckered into allowing a damaged Norse God into his tower as his prisoner/servant.
Basically I like writing angsty pieces and delving into the psychological states of people in pain. And bringing egos low.

They obviously had that in common, the two of them. The unlooked-for protection of monster’s blood. The native resistance of animals. The unclean fortitude of beasts.

His past isn’t as buried as he had first thought and things that were supposed to stay dead are very much alive. No matter how much Loki says he's happy, he can't convince himself anymore but he can't bring himself to walk away.
Secrets are revealed but Loki prefers the term omission rather than lies.
