A CAPTIVATING RETELLING OF THE ORIGINAL 2018 TALE:
Clay Jensen is fresh out of the hospital after a suicide attempt on his fifteenth birthday. Back home, he struggles to reconstruct his life and finds difficulty reaching out to his close friends and family.
Hannah Baker and her parents move from the east coast to California after an incident at Hannah's school left them rushing for a new start in the Golden State.
The two of them later meet at the local movie theater where they begin their cathartic journey towards friendship, trust, heartbreak, happiness, love, tragedy, and ultimately hope that the two of them can make a difference in each other's lives while making an effort to move on from their past lives.
