Forming an unholy camaraderie with the Red Crown, the Lamb decides to take a risk and cheat the One Below. Using the remains of the Bishop of Chaos and Famine, the Vessel performs the ritual with the support of the eldritch tool to bring back the dead.
Believing they had corrected the mistake of destiny, the Lamb thought they were now free from burden until the Yellow Crown latched onto their soul. There's also the fact that Heket is alive as a mortal, glaring at them. Being a follower of war and death, the lamb must now embrace the doctrines of Famine in hopes to ascend a fallen deity.

Follower Brenon defeats this with her own theory, proclaiming Shamura had effectively persuaded their leader to give up loving Death. A love between a god and a mortal is not only fleeting but a casual taboo disadvantageous to the mortal in the long run.
"Maybe they're right. This looks like a love quarrel," Baal turned to look at Aym, astounded that their master gave the Lamb a chance to live in the first place.
