Summary
The Lone Wanderer is a figure almost out of the comic books. The hero of the Capitol Wastes, who brought Aqua Pura to the Capitol Wastes. Who is credited with the fall of The Pitt, of Paradise Falls, and the Enclave. They are a mysterious figure rumored to still wander the wastes in their Vault 101 jumpsuit and Tunnel Snakes jacket with a baseball bat resting across their shoulders as they try to find the next group that needs rescuing. The identity of this hero has become something of a secret, partially cultivated and partially because many didn't know that they had passed through their towns to do good until the tales had reached them on the radio.
Only a trusted few know the name of the individual, let alone their face. Because Blair Birmingham is no saint, and they're the first to tell you this. The Minuteman is the last person that anybody would believe was the legendary hero. Crass, nihilistic, and a self-proclaimed bad parent. But once upon a time, she was a bright-eyed girl taking her first steps into the wastes in search of her father. She didn't know what laid before her, she had no way to know who and what she would become, or what she would lose.
And they wouldn't have it any other way.

Charon’s body shuddered as Lone extended their hand, sliding it over his chest before it came to rest atop one of his own hands. They flexed their fingers, a suggestion to loosen his grip on the barrel of his shotgun, but the ghoul refused to budge. They kept the contact with him for a moment more, but as he showed no sign of yielding to their touch, they pulled away, rolling over onto their back once more.
Well, it was worth a try.
