Summary
Outset Island is a peaceful respite from all the marching and fighting they have to do, and Legend intends for it to stay that way - at least until Wind suggests a swimming race, and Warriors calls his ability to win into question.
Little do they know just how comfortable he really is in water.
It’s just his luck that after that’s all said and done, one of Wind's era's monsters seems adamant to disturb him as well. It, and the strange combat-versed Zora that seems oddly familiar.

Hyrule furrowed his brow. "I don't know if I want to be caught in the middle of this."
Legend crossed his arms. "Don't even start it."
"How do your people feel about your heroic deeds?" Warriors asked, smirking as he leaned against the back wall.
Legend groaned and raked his fingers through his hair. That bastard. It wasn't that he wasn't curious as to whether Hyrule was like him or Warriors—he had a feeling he and Hyrule would share this in common—but what he didn't want was the way Warriors smirked like a devil. Warriors knew Legend didn't want Hyrule to know and was relishing in it.
Hyrule sighed. "And what does this have to do with anything?"
"To prove a point. Indulge me," Warriors pressed, sound all too pleased. Legend wanted to throw his stuff into Lake Hylia and see if he still looked so goddamn cheeky.
Hyrule rubbed his nape. "They're pretty mad at me about the whole 'killing Ganon' thing."

Summary
Time had taken the first shift, and about halfway to midnight he’d gotten up to wake Warriors for the second watch. Not much had been said, it was a relatively quiet night so far, and Warriors had settled in by the fire without complaint.
About an hour after that, Wild stirred.
He mumbled to himself in his sleep, shifting as he did, startling Legend into full wakefulness. He blinked, disoriented for the briefest of moments before he felt something slither across his stomach and cling to him tightly.

It was far from the first time this had happened to them. More often than not, they would hear tales of monster camps and dungeons only to find the places cleared out by the time they got there. And while it was nice to see that the world could manage without heroes doing everything, something wasn’t right. If the people of the era didn’t know it was dealt with…then that implied that someone else was responsible.

“It’s a shame, really,” Wild huffed, crossing his arms and propping his leg on the coffee table in Malon’s living room. “I’ve slept longer than half the people in my era have been alive! Nobody cared at the Noble Canteen...I just wanted to try a Noble Pursuit!”
Warriors had never once, in his entire, crazy life, expected to be talking with his incarnated self who apparently had been asleep for 100 years, woke up with no memories, saved all of Hyrule anyways and found the most inconvenient part of it all was not being able to drink at a Gerudo bar.

Wild is 117 and doesn't understand that this is Not Normal. Warriors gets more headaches (and gray hairs), and the chain ends up in Gerudo Town. This does not de-escalate the situation at all.

“What the hell?” Twilight sputtered, words failing him. “How—what—?”
“That’s exactly how I feel!” Sky wailed, running a hand through his hair. “What does this mean? Ravio dresses up as a rabbit, they have a ton of rabbit decorations around…Legend can talk as a rabbit, so he must be able to communicate in rabbit-language. Animal-language.”

Twilight gulped. How long did Legend spend as a rabbit after all?

Summary
Time opened his eye to a world on fire. The bittersweet smell of smoke forced its way into his lungs, and he coughed. Above him, where the roof used to be, was the moon, just as terrible and big as it had been in Termina. It filled Time’s vision.
“Oh, thank Hylia you’re awake.”
Time reluctantly peeled his eye from the giant red one in the sky and looked at the person in front of him. Warriors. His blond hair swayed gently in the breeze. The plate armor reflected the red light. His blue scarf was slightly torn by the hem. In his hand was a sword, ready to defend them both if needed. Time thought Warriors looked more like the typical storybook hero than Time ever had.Ten different versions of how the Chain met. The first nine chapters will feature a story in which eight of the Links meet their last member. The last one will feature a story about how all of them meet at once. Title may be subject to change.

Sky turned around, half expecting to find a monster behind him, but he couldn’t make anything out in the darkness and rain. Maybe there was something Time could see that he couldn’t?
“Everyone!” Time shouted behind him, not taking his eyes off Sky. Sky blinked at him in nervous confusion, opening his mouth but then closing it. It was good Time was getting everybody else, right? They could help.
The trees behind him rustled. He startled, turning to see the rest of the group stepping into the small clearing, swords and shields reflecting off of their respective light sources. They surrounded Sky, and he was struck by the strange feeling that all of their cautious glares were directed his way.
...Did they not recognize him?-
Or,
Sky has an unfortunate experience with a lightning storm and undergoes some... changes. Everything goes downhill from there.
