Summary
The nobles of Crystal City were originally formed to preserve Cybertronian traditions and history; from the previous Golden Age to as far as the Covenant of the Primes. Long has their purpose been lost, leaving very few descendants left who willingly uphold their predecessors’ duty to spark.
Mirage of Tower Illusia grew up in a strict yet caring environment. Not much a different life than what his elder brother is going through nor what his younger brother will face. His creators never shy them away from one truth: their privilege is fed from corruption and it will one day be taken from them.
As if it isn’t hard enough, Mirage’s life is turned upside down when his grand-sire suddenly demands to be Lord of Tower Illusia again. Then the war reaches the Towers. Then he is taken by Decepticons. Why they refuse to let him join his family in the Well, Mirage is not sure to take it as a blessing or another form of torment.

He didn't like himself.
Breakdown refused to look in the mirror of the training room, face flushed with embarrassment as the others words hummed through his helm.
“Have you been on the juice?” Dead-End asked one night on an assignment.
It made the others freeze, he knew it did, because he could feel their optics on him, gazes going straight to his waist. Breakdown covered his sides anxiously and shook his helm, “No” he mumbled, face hot with energon.
“Aw- yeah you have” Dead-end sneered, giving Breakdown a sharp pinch to his side.
“Maybe if you stopped snacking, you wouldn't have such a hard time working” Brawl sneered.
Or, the other stunticons verbally abuse Breakdown and Knock Out has to pick up the broken pieces of Breakdown and build him back up.
