It was Wednesday, the only day where he and the kids finished school at the same time, so automatically it was the day he drove them all home. The heat was pounding over their heads, air simmering around them. Th sweat was rolling down their foreheads, their backs.
They all piled into his beat down van, shouting their heads off about a test that was supposedly completely unfair and about how the teacher knew absolutely nothing.It was late July, not long anymore until he finally graduated after too many years.
The sun was shining, no cloud to be seen and Eddie was excited. Eddie was happy.

A smile crept up on the metalhead's face as he recognized who it was. He would know Stevie Harrington's hair from a mile away. Eddie's smile faltered as she turned to face the group, glass covered her hair and sweater and the whole left side of her face was covered in blood. She seemed dazed and detached and her clothes were soaked in a mixture of blood and alcohol.

The second time Eddie woke up, he wasn’t there. Steve called him, his voice almost as light as it was when Max woke up; “He’s asking for you.”
If it wasn’t for his stupid busted ankle, Dustin would have happily biked there. Instead he waited impatiently for Steve to come pick him up. He resisted the urge to pace, crutches or not, because he was meant to be resting or whatever. As if he could rest now!

The dominoes fall differently and Eddie and Max live, while Vecna dies. Hawkins is still in chaos. With cover-stories, impossible injuries and disaster all around, it's up to The Party to look after each other.
OR: A prequel to "The Kingdoms Never Weep," covering the year after Vecna's defeat. Heaven help anyone who tries to tear The Party apart now.

"Wheeler! Will! Get away from the edge" a gruff voice demanded. Which was quite unfortunate because Mike had only just raised his leg over. Tears fell harder down his face, not for any guilt felt reason, mainly out of anger? Sadness? Because they were stopped.
What couldn't people understand about not wanting to live? How dare Hopper tell them to get away, they were there for a reason so just leave them be.
Or a Mike-centric fic with him wanting to die and trying double unalive with Will. Not the best summary, but very Mike-centric and angsty

He grabbed the walkie-talkie from his bedside table, his breathing still irregular. His anxiety was replaced by sheer anger and a confused sort of shock. It felt like the weirdest dream in the world; surely this wasn’t actually happening?
“Hey,” Eddie said into the walkie. “What’s the code for estranged family bullshit deciding to ruin your already shitty day? Over.”
There was a brief pause before Robin said, “I’d call it a Code Fuck That,” as Dustin spoke at the same time; “It’s a Code Blue, over.”

Eddie's mother disappeared from his life when he was eight, and his grandparents have never been involved. But now, nearly a year after the events of the Upside Down, his mother has re-appeared.
And she wants to see him.
Eddie, along with his friends and Wayne, aren't happy about that.

Ted and his coworker get drunk one night with Mike around, they end up taking their pent up aggression out on him in a sexual way. Mike ends up running away afterwards where he's found by Hopper, the two have a very Mike & Hopper "talk" which means arguing but Hopper learns what happened to the kid and brings him to the Byers where he can get the comfort he deserves. The next day they plan to put that asshole Ted in jail, but it's a process and Mike needs his friends company.
So sorry for the summary- it sucks ik but if you like Mike centric fics with him being absolutely tortured then this may work out! Its got plenty of angst and Blyer being gay for each other

Steve remembers the lab clear as day, almost like a fresh cut that never wanted to scab. He's been hiding out in Hawkins after getting incredibly lucky with what he was able to scrap together under the small town's nose. He got himself an identity of his own and an excellent status at school, nobody would ever suspect that steve 'the hair' Harrington always wears that bandana on his wrist for a reason far greater than 'screw off man, it looks cool' well he is good at keeping secrets, that's what some of his 'friends' say at least.
his telekinesis and his ability to learn the history behind any object he touches gave him a pretty big boost in high school, you'd be surprised
let's be honest he really should have called himself James bond for the 007 & please for the love of god if I type weirdly or you need to correct me on something don't hesitate, I have dyslexia and ADHD & those two mixes as well as oil and water, also English isn't my first language so again correct me please I need it

During a prototype game of D&D Mike remembers a bad memory he had with spiders, this makes him spiral into a panic attack as he tries to get the nonexistent spiders off him. Eddie is able to calm him though and get him to open up about what caused this. The party hears and offers him comfort too.

Your son is too good to be in a place like this.” That was Wayne now, who moves over to stand beside Steve and place a reassuring hand on the kid’s shoulder, causing the younger man to look over at him with a small confused frown. “I’ve told you before, mine and Eddie’s home will always be yours.” Wayne tells Steve, voice lowered so that only Steve could hear what it was that he was saying; and he watches as the younger man takes a shuddering breath while his eyes fill with tears.

It’s the sound of one of the kid’s voices that causes all four of the adults to look over at the door as it creeks open, seeing Max poke her head in through the door. And when the door is pushed open even more, everyone can see all of the kids gathered with Robin standing behind them. She smiles sheepishly as she gives a little wave before making her way into the room and standing beside her girlfriend. “Sorry, I tried to keep them out but they were worried about you.” She explained, and Steve couldn’t even be annoyed if he wanted to, because looking at the kid’s faces he can see how worried they were.
