He was cradling something close to him, his eyes were red. A black tuft of hair was seen among the blankets he was wrapped in.
"Please, please help him" he begged while kneeling, showing the tiny thing that was held close to him.
“Huh, looks like we don’t need to worry about tracking reindeer games.” Tony lowered his hand slowly as he stare at Loki who was kneeling. ‘Well that’s one less problem.’ He thought.

The blindfold covering most of the Jöt’s face was removed, kohl lined crimson eyes of a very familiar shape rolled back and shone with tears. Ymir’s crown graced his forehead; the well-known housemark of Jötunheimr's royalty.

A Time Travel Fix-it where Loki really did die and Thor goes back to save his brother before he needs saving. A strange hybrid of marvel bits and actual Norse mythos all crammed into angsty wrapping. Not a Quick Fix-it. Epic Length Story Warning It'll take time for things to get solved.

Summary
Post Endgame AU where everyone is alive. Thor was able to save Loki (and the world but that's not important) from the titan Thanos. He's putting his life back together with his little brother at his side. He foolishly thought that this was the beginning to their happy ending. Then one day he goes into Loki's room to find him with a knife in his chest.
Thor didn't know that his brother was suffering. He didn't know that Loki suffered from the petrifying memories of Thanos crushing his throat. He did know that Loki is haunted by what had occured on Sakaar with the Grandmaster. He didn't even know that the happy memories of their childhood were nothing more than lies in Loki's mind.
Seeing no way out, Thor decides to Avenge his brother, foolishly believing that this will help Loki.
Basically Thor and Loki are both struggling and trying to figure out how to best help each other with some murder along the way.

Summary
During the chaos surrounding the infinity gems, a variant of Loki got his hands on the Time Gem and the Tesseract. Thinking this was his ticket to fix everything, he cobbles together a package of hints and ciphers as quickly as he can before the attempt drives him insane and blasts it backward in time. Unfortunately, he was hardly in a fit condition to use such powerful magic properly. Certain his efforts were for naught, he never speaks of his actions.
In another universe, a depressed and drunk Adolescent Loki receives a strange package and resolves to set his life on a new path.
Time travel isn't impossible even if you don't have the Time Gem, but using it to change anything more than a few days past is widely considered the most effective way to go insane or ruin your life. So when Loki receives a package apparently from his future self he is understandably concerned. The Wheel of Time continues to turn, and whatever happens in this iteration of the universe, Loki will not ignore this herald of dangers to come.
