It's currently 2025, and somehow, scientists have managed to open portals to unknown places. No one knows where any of these portals lead nor how they even came to be. That being said, they need to learn somehow, where they lead to at least. That's where Theodore comes in.
Theodore is a normal guy— kind of. He lives a normal life, but certainly doesn't fit the term 'masculine'. He is a crossdresser who lives a peaceful, but uneventful life. So when he learned from the news that portals have opened up and they need volunteers to help learn where they lead, Theodore jumped right on it.
The portal Theodore went into happened to lead to the 19th Century in London. He had been transported into a forest once he went inside the portal. As he walked, he was approached by a tall blonde man, who had mistaken him as a woman. Naturally, since Theodore wore feminine clothes, had a feminine face, and talked higher than most men. But since he neglected to change his clothes, he couldn't correct the man, or else he'd risk getting arrested. So now, me must go about his days in the past pretending to be a woman. Along the way, he realized he may not want to leave, at least not for a long time.
