“Wait! Can I- can I stay out for a few minutes?” Sapnap asked, his voice sounding desperate.
“Yeah, of course. Me and George will wait for you in the car,” Dream said. Sapnap sighed in relief and waited until he could no longer hear Dream and George’s chatter before he broke down into tears. This was it. This was the end. He’d never spend time with Dream and George ever again. He’d be dead. Sapnap choked out a sob and slowly dropped to his knees, sitting in the sand and staring out at the ocean, his vision blurry with tears.

Summary
Everything was starting to become overbearing for sapnap, the feeling that connection with friends was being lost. The feeling of connection with himself and the world he was currently living in was starting to lose its significant value. Tethering with trying to keep a good head on his shoulder, keeping the mask he has worn on, oh so much, has become overwhelming for him.
Everything hit him like a train, his mask slowly cracking letting his true emotions show out for the world to see. hurt, anger, confusion, hopelessness, fear seeps out but even when everything was crashing and burning around him, even when he felt that there was no way out of this darkness, a shimmering light appears in front of him, a light that was in a shape of a person was there to bring him back to reality and that person was dream.

Sapnap wakes up dead in an alley outside of a bar he doesn't know. Somehow, this is the least of his problems. Because not only is he a vampire, and not only is the guy that turned him into a vampire a complete weirdo, but his best friend is possessed by a demon and his other best friend thinks he's dead. Add in the weird guy running the antique shop that seems to think that Sapnap is some kind of criminal, and he thinks that he has a bit of a migraine coming on. Cheers to immortality?

Now, as he’s thirty thousand feet in the air, he wishes he was back on solid ground, back in Karl’s hotel room. Or really, anywhere with Karl. He had made a joke that Karl should come back with them to Florida now that George is here, but it was meant in a joking way, and it was received in one.
So Sapnap sits in his uncomfortable airplane seat, with stale crackers in front of him, as the plane hurtles towards Orlando. To home. He knows that Karl is also sitting on an airplane seat, on a different plane, probably with stale crackers in front of him, being thrown to a different airport. To North Carolina. Cold, bitter North Carolina. Sapnap also loves making jokes about that. That North Carolina is too cold for Karl, that Orlando will always have warmth for him. Either in the form of beaches or Sapnap’s hugs.
They’re jokes, though. Just jokes.
or, sapnap is home from TC, and all he wants to do is be back with karl again. so he goes back.

“Hey guys?” Sapnap starts. The other two men turn to look at him, though Dream has the decency to keep his flashlight pointed towards the grass. “I just, uh…I just wanted to say that I love you guys. A lot. And I—I’m really thankful that you guys are my friends. It really meant—it just means a lot to me. So.” God, Sapnap feels like he’s shaking out of his own skin. His hands tremble from where he’s hidden them in his hoodie pocket, his chest trembles with each inhale and exhale of the bitter night air.
It’s lame. A lame attempt at a final thank you, not even half of what they deserve to hear, what Sapnap wants to say. But Sapnap’s not sure he could continue on without his voice breaking, so he ends his pathetic little thank you with a thin-lipped smile.
Sapnap attempts suicide. He lives to see the aftermath.
