Summary
Starscream has always been an Autobot—loyal, brilliant, and painfully sincere.

Orion emerges, the tiny, weak bitlet Sentinel named himself. He is sure of the hatred he feels for Orion; sure, he'll resent Orion for being born. Sentinel desperately searches for it whenever he looks at Orion, his optics hovering at the tiny, silver pair of wings like his own on his back. Zeta points out how Orion has his optics, how both possess the same warmth whenever they're looking at something dear to them.
"I'll get rid of you when I don't need you anymore," Sentinel tells himself, whispering it to the cooing Orion in his arms.

Attempting to co-exist in peace with one another is a daunting prospect for even the most amicable Autobots and Decepticons -- it's far worse if you've spent millions of years specifically trying to kill one 'bot who just won't stay terminated. When grievances need addressing, Jetfire and Sky-Byte have to find an outlet for their rivalry that won't kick off a renewal of their recently-settled civil war.
But neither of them are keen to back down from a challenge.
(Cyberverse-adjacent AU where most people are alive, peace has been negotiated, and Sky-Byte is still awful at poetry.)

Ultra Magnus has never thought of having, or wanting, anything more with his captain. He's happy with how things are, and if he's noticing more and more of Rodimus' appealing qualities, it's surely just a result of Rodimus ever improving as a captain.
Rodimus has wanted more with his second in command for far, far longer than he wants to admit. In fact, he doesn't want to admit it at all, and he will continue not to. He's satisfied with what he has, and will not risk losing it now over some silly feelings.
And Minimus' repressed and long forgotten alt form is just tired of waiting for them to figure it out.

Summary

Orion Pax is an archivist at the Prime Museum of Cybertron in Iacon. It's his dream job, or was, before his mid life crisis kicked in and got him demoted to cleanup duty. While life is seemingly bleak, at least he still has the quasi-comforting Megatronus statue to vent his embarrassingly privileged problems to. At least he can't ever hold it against Orion, because he's not real.

Despite Sentinel Prime announcing the war between Quintessans to be back Cybertron is silent.
There is no trace of war; no death and no sparks lost to the wind in battle.After Megatron's death and Orion Pax' disappearance Optimus have wandered the wilderness, eventually finding himself back in Tarn. The last place they spent time together. The last place on Cybertron that still feels like home.
Where he is supposed to go from here he does not know; and with a sparkling quickly approaching emergence he is desperate to find solace in the few friends he made along the way trying to evade Sentinel.But how is he supposed to find them? No one knows Orion Pax is now Optimus Prime. To the rest of the world Orion died alongside Megatron.
He never told them of who he would become; it was only Megatron who knew. And with the other Primes gone he has no one who can vouch for him.
Except for one other mech.
There is one other mech who knows of his ascension...But who's to say if he still lives?
