When Kaveh felt himself being pushed up against the front door to presumably the stranger’s house, he simply let it happen. The stranger, who Kaveh could only identify as a tall man with light coloured hair, grabbed at his waist and leaned in to catch Kaveh’s lips in a messy kiss. Kaveh was far too out of it to protest or push away, or to even bother forming an opinion on what was happening to him. If this was what was happening in this moment, then so be it. Kaveh couldn’t care less what happened to him.

For a moment he hoped that the person in front of him would prove him wrong, that there was an explanation for it. That there was something that he could say that would explain everything, but as he watched the impostor’s expression slowly shift into one that he knew Alhaitham would never make, Kaveh knew with dreadful certainty that it wasn’t the case.
“He doesn’t?” The man said, his voice that once was an exact match to Alhaitham’s was slightly distorted, edging on something otherworldly, “Fuck!”
OR
Broke from building the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh lands himself a job working as the doorman for an apartment complex near the Akademiya as an in-between to pay back his debts. Consequentially becoming infatuated with a resident of the building Alhaitham, he swore not to act on it but everything changed once the Akademiya started employing new suspicious safety regulations. Finally seeing Alhaitham after he went missing for a few days, he finds that the man he is met with looks entirely like him in documents and appearance if it only weren't for his crimson red eyes.

Partly Inspired by Swan Princess (1994)
Prince Alhaitham and Prince Kaveh were betrothed from a young age by their respective guardians, forced to spend the next 12 springs together until the day of their wedding. Kaveh believed they were growing to understand one another, he genuinely believed that no one understood him better than Alhaitham in the whole world. Then, on their 13th spring, the night of their wedding, Kaveh awaited Alhaitham's denial when he confronted him with a simple question:
"Do you still believe that the betrothal is the only reason we've been together for so long?"
To his horror, Alhaitham's green eyes grew frigid and somehow confused:
"What else is there?"
Distraught, he'd called off the wedding on the spot and ran away far into the desert, only to be whisked away by an enraged King Deshret who bound him to a mystical oasis and cursed him to spend his days as a bird and only allowed him to turn to a human at night. The God of the desert deemed that the curse could only be broken by a vow of everlasting love, assuring Kaveh that he would never be freed from the oasis and his clutches.
