Pearl let out a few disbelieving gasps as she sat on his bed, she looked like a statue. Grian tried to keep his breaths steady but he failed with each attempt. He couldn’t fathom what he was told as they ate.
He was to be wedded soon. He was to be wedded off to Scar of all people.
“This is nothing less than cruel to you.” Pearl’s eyes were full of unshed tears, he reckons that it’s from both sadness and anger.
“We both know that nothing can come from this marriage, they're just sending you off to go deal with that monster for them.” He knew what she was talking about. Grian was just as confused as his sister when it came to him being chosen. There was one major flaw in this marriage that just couldn’t be overlooked.

Or, Dazai is convinced (forced) to join his friends for a year in Paris, and he doesn't know a word of French. Chuuya is just hoping to get through school without any strange encounters, and he doesn't know a word of Japanese. They collide (literally) and the situation devolves from there. They figure it out.

There's a rather interesting contrast between how slowly a drunken Chuuya's mind processes thoughts and how quickly his body reacts without so much as a speck of hesitation. Just as quickly as the words slip from Dazai's mouth, both of Chuuya's gloved hands clasp Dazai's left hand. The look that Chuuya gives him is unlike anything he's ever seen before and it takes Dazai's breath away.
With wide, wet, doey eyes, Chuuya practically pouts.
"Please," he mutters so sweetly, as though begging is the most natural thing in the world to him (which Dazai knows it isn't). "Let me fuck you, Dazai, please…"

He’s been freeloading for almost four months now—and Odasaku deserves to have his apartment back to himself, and Ango deserves to not be seen in compromising situations every time he stays over and forgets to lock the bathroom door and Dazai—well Dazai doesn’t really think he deserves anything at this point, but that’s something he’s been working on.
Nakahara Chuuya—at least that was the name listed in the advertisement—isn’t Oda nor Ango, and from the description he’d attached to the advertisement is just a regular guy that values cleanliness and good conversation. Regular sort of guys usually do not enjoy being kept waiting, and while Dazai is sure he’d be able to smooth any ruffled feathers with the little charm he still has somewhere hidden in himself, he doesn't want an awful start to that whole roommate business.

I literally loved this so much. I was kinda off put by the heavy amount of words but I read it in two days and it was amazing and so worth the time. It’s detailed and intricate and just overall beautifully written. The plot is amazing and while in some parts got confusing for me I quickly figured it out because it was so descriptive.
