All he knew was that the copper-haired lad had seen the inside of Camelot’s dungeons more than anyone else, perhaps even more so than Prince Arthur’s clumsy manservant. So, with a world-weary sigh and the clatter of armoured boots tapping on stone, Leon stepped into the view of the furthest most cell and grimaced at the sight of the lad lying limp in the middle of a pile of rotten straw with the brightest grin he’d ever seen.
“Ser Leon, we are making a habit of this.”
Or alternatively titled, ‘Leon is on his last fucking nerve and a pretty man just snapped it’.

Everyone always thinks of Eoin as the cautious one. He's the calm one, the one who keeps them just this side of the line.
The truth is that Eoin sees the line as a flexible thing. If Paddy weren't around, Eoin would still get into just as many scrapes. He might not win as many but he can talk himself into plenty of trouble when he's feeling mischievous.

There’s been a man. Augustin keeps seeing him at the edges of his vision, just around corners, sitting in the gloomy areas of rooms, blurring the background of mirrors.
He is tall, with a laughing sort of face, a wide stretch of a mouth, and brown hair that carefully curls over one side of his head. He never talks, but he meets Augustin’s eyes over the mess when Reg does something outrageous, gives him a grin. He rolls his eyes behind Stirling’s back at roll-call, and makes Augustin tuck a smile against his chin so no one can see.
He is always, always standing next to Paddy.
