Interesting lore idea around Cybertronian development. The idea that they do evolve, but far more slowly because their drive is to work well together, not to survive.
It creates a neat comparison on how currently Cybertronians are more advanced (having started off being advanced and also have made somE progress since species conception), but humans (while currently less advanced and having started further back in status) have made far more progression far more quickly than Cybertronians.
This growth model would indicate that eventually humans would surpass Cybertronians, and then leave them behind in the dust. (Which is interesting!) -

And nests of fans and radiator plates that made up his primary coolant system. Then she noticed the smell. It was not exactly unpleasant—earthy and damp, a little like mildew and a little like swamp. It was a weird smell to come from a mech. Abruptly, June leaned out and down, one hand reaching out to point at the inner surface of Cliffjumper’s armor. “Ratchet, what is that?”

This part of the series is just as delicious as the last! But I’m especially loving the introduction of certain new robots on earth. The mistranslation nuances from incomplete language packs is delightful!The way a certain sentence given from the alien may initially be perceived as rude (and funny). But from the robot alien’s perspective, it is likely just an objective description, or certain phrases translating over-literally without thought to the emotional meanings assigned to English words used.

Summary
Hard, metallic hands padded with something like thick rubber, bigger than your entire body, swooped on you and scooped you up like a wayward kitten. You gasped more than screamed, black spots peppering your vision as you fumbled for something to hold onto. The metal under your hands was warm and had an inexplicably shiny finish, like the giant robot had a thing for detailing. A thought so inane that the one that follows it is, oh. I’m in shock.

In a post-contact universe, a handful of humans volunteer to serve aboard Cybertronian spaceships as part of a loosely-affiliated, informal group known as the coterie. Coterie humans fill roles not unlike those of the cats aboard Earth's sailing vessels, and many more besides.
Scraplet hunting, emotional support, an outside perspective, a tiny ace up the captain's sleeve that enemies won't see coming. That famous human pack-bonding instinct that's a little misunderstood and overblown...but, even you eventually have to admit, holds a kernel of truth.
Also, Megatron is there. And you have a pet scraplet.

This is super cool! Right from the get-go there are tons of interesting ideas/thoughts to pursue. The idea of humans being assigned ship helpers to assist with repairs or unknown cargos, having contracts in place to help human groups, and especially lone humans for the sake of isolation…

“This is your fault,” Megatron told Bumblebee, with no room for uncertainty left in his voice. “Of that, I am certain we both know.”
“Shut up,” Bumblebee returned, but only because his addled processor couldn’t come up with anything more clever to say. “I know that.”
The look Megatron sent him was exasperated, and a touch annoyed. He was clearly struggling to keep all preconceptions of a threat off his face. Instead, it was replaced by something in a similar vein to worry.
It was so ridiculous looking on the former warmonger that Bumblebee could’ve laughed. But regardless of how hard he tried, the sound refused to rise through his engine or tumble out of his vocoder.
So he didn’t.

Summary
A collection of one shots, entirely dedicated to Earthspark's Bumblebee!
Life on Earth was strange... to say the least. At least, it was compared to Cybertron. Bumblebee knew that he only thought that because he was a Cybertronian, even if he had been residing on Earth for many years by now. With how long Cybertronian lifespans were compared to shorter-lived species, it made sense that their bodies adjusted slower. After all, a robot that had lived for over a million years would find it very inconvenient for their processers to quickly register periods of time, extending their perception of its progression. They’d go mad.
The humans would likely lose their processors, ahem, minds, if they saw Cybertron after living their lives on their little green planet. Even the Terrans, despite being transformers like himself, had never laid optics on his home planet. Unfortunate. They probably never would, even if there was anything left of it. But that's okay, because he had a mission here, on Earth instead.
By now, it wasn't just Optimus's orders that kept him, but secretly, his own personal obligation. Protect HIS family, not just the Maltos. Now, if only that didn't come with so many other side effects.
