Jason Todd knew that rising back from the dead is not something that can be explained by science or natural law. That's a concept he merely knew from a fictional standpoint and was brushed off as mumbo-jumbo, hocus-pocus type of crap. But weird stuff did tend to happen to people in the vigilante business. So when he came back, he mostly shrugged it off as a side effect of being a kid crime-fighter.
Evidently, not.
(What if, Jason becomes a supernatural hunter vigilante, crime lord. The crime lording is very important to him, because he's none of those other two. He's a budding criminal with a lot of crime in mind. Or so, he insists.)

It's 2011, four years after Jason Todd's death, and Halloween is fast approaching. People say it's bound to be the most haunted night in Gotham in 80 years, with rumours wanting "Sergeant Larry", Gotham's legendary rendition of the Headless Horseman, to make a return. The cult of the Pumpkin Heads believes they can jumpstart the Apocalypse that will end the world. It all sounds like a bunch of baloney, doesn't it?
Maybe not so much.
This year the Wayne Manor is being haunted for real by a vengeful ghost, a ghost whose anger feels... familiar. No one talks about "him", but everyone knows "he" is there, and it's only getting worse the closer they get to October 31st. What does the dead Robin have in store for Halloween night?
Or: A cult comprised of amateur horror enthusiasts accidentally summons the spirit of Jason Todd and an army of undead. Halloween shenanigans ensue, family drama follows, and feelings about death are complicated, as you'd expect.
The thing about magic is that it never truly fades away, you just forget how to notice it.
