Like skydiving without a parachute or sailing without an oar, spinning out of control in a frenzy of disjointed, shallow breaths and fingers that scratch and scrape at the disgusting weights on his chest. Somehow, this painting shows all of it, like someone else has been in his mind and turned the wasteland into something inspiring.
