While streamsniping some random guy with his best friend Eggchan, Wemmbu fell off his chair and landed himself in the backrooms. Parrot’s chest tightened. He watched Wifies walk away, every step feeling like a countdown he couldn’t stop. His mouth opened before his brain could catch up—like it always did now.
“Wifies.”
It had become a habit. Calling his name at the edge of endings. Like if he said it enough times, it would anchor him here.
Wifies turned instantly, no hesitation at all. “Mhm?”
That was the worst part.
The way he always turned back.
OR
Parrot is stuck in a time-loop. Time and time again, he wakes up in Paragon. He takes it as a mission to change history, to fix Wifies. He realises it’s not possible—that it’s inevitable, so instead he decides to spend time with Wifies while he can.

Summary
When Flame decided to become a hero, he knew it would come at a price. Starting over on his own, after hitting rock bottom, would be his hardest battle yet. The worst loss wasn’t anything material, though. It wasn’t giving up his name, his sword, his everything, to have his identity revealed and criminal record expunged so he could be given a clean slate.
No, the worst part was the people he left behind. People he would never be able to save, hero or otherwise.
A hand clamped over his mouth, smothering an instinctual shout and yanking him back.
“Don’t scream. I’ve got enough energy stockpiled to blow this whole building up. I’m sure you’ll survive, but all those civilians you care so much about now– Eh, they might not be so lucky.”
Slowly, with no sharp movements, Flame looked over his shoulder. He just had to be sure this was who he thought it was.
Wemmbu smiled. “Let’s talk, bro.”
Really great. Especially since the last time he saw Wemmbu, he had almost died.

Wemmbu wouldn’t have to go out and wonder if he would make it out of the next war.Egg wouldn’t have to worry about his best friend never coming back. Possibly getting banned for the server and leaving Eggchan stuck in the end for all of eternity.
Wemmbu never saw Eggchan again.

It was obvious from how Ash phrased the question that it was rhetorical. Wifies stayed silent, waiting.
“I have to say, when I invited you both to the mafia, I was expecting Parrot to be the most useful asset between you two. You were just… baggage. An extra piece to the machine. But you’ve proved me wrong. Time, and time again, you’ve proved me wrong, Wifies. You are a horrible, selfish person. I mean– you’re barely even that! Barely a person.” Ash laughed loudly to himself. “Just look at everything you’ve done. Every actual human being you’ve killed with zero hesitation. And for what? Really, for what? I’m giving you permission to speak, Wifies.”
“For Parrot.”
“For power,” Ash corrected. “Because that’s what you need right? To protect him? You can’t have anything without power.”

With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

Leo and his family come up with a plan to get rid of it once and for all. It was risky, but at least Leo was certain of one thing: he would do anything to keep his family safe.
But if their lives had been a bit different... if they hadn't had mystic powers to stop the Krang... if things had been different during the invasion... what lengths would Leo have gone to in order to save his family?
The answer was still the same:
Anything.
Even if that meant he had to conquer the universe himself.

A great source of despair draws Nightmare to an abandoned AU. There he finds an unfinished Sans with no name, no companions, no purpose, no world, and a soul. Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.

The worst part was the last few moments.
Straining for all he was worth, wings burning and aching with exhaustion built up to the roots. When his talons brushed the dirt, he felt the warning signs, pinpricks racing around his collar, letting him know he was about to make a mistake. Which wasn’t his fault. Grian was well aware of that much.
He’d crash-land anyway.
{In which Grian is suspicious of his new masters, Scar and Mumbo have zero clue how to take care of avians, the world is there to hurt, be hurt, or get stolen from, and in the end, someone always has to get lucky. Grian's hoping this time around, it'll finally be him.}
