Summary
Lex heard the faint but distinct clink of ice against glass and he frowned. “You’re drunk.”
A breathy chuckle sounded from the other line, and the business mogul heard Superman swallow whatever was in the glass. “I am.”
“You can’t get drunk.” After two years of constant observation -- what some would call stalking -- Lex had been sure that getting drunk was impossible for the invulnerable alien.
“Given the right ingredients, I can.”

Summary
"We had rules, Dick."
Bruce's mouth was drawn into a frown, brows furrowed ― he didn't look angry so much as he looked disappointed.
Dick looked away, gritting his teeth. "No." He bit out, "You had rules, Bruce."
Even looking away, he caught the wince. And even looking away, he could hear the strain when Bruce uttered his name again.
"Don't." He sighed. "The damage is done, Bruce, it has been for years."
Bruce winced once more, harder. At least Dick knew he found truth in the words, from that.
It was silent a moment, long enough he started getting anxious. But then, slowly, "... You've been with Deathstroke."

Summary
Pitching his weight forward, Dick is about to fall, about to let himself go, when a sound catches his attention from behind him.
He freezes, stiffening. Only a bat would be up here at this time of night.
“Dickiebird?”
The voice is as familiar as Bruce’s, the same tenor that’s haunted Dick’s dreams and nightmares for the last few years,
“Jay?”
~
It's all too much for Dick. He's failing everyone in his life and he can't bear to fail anyone else.

recovery is slow and hard and sometimes you take more steps backward than forwards.
sometimes you help others as much as you are helped, sometimes you're buried ankle deep in regret and fear.
it's never easy
or; Dick Grayson and trauma, recovery, and his siblings. Something's wrong with all of them but they work through it, eventually.

“What happened?” Kori asks, eyes wide as she traces the edges of the bruise.
Dick knows that if he told her the truth, she would fly straight to Gotham with starbeams burning in her eyes. “I fell,” he says. He gives Kori a self-effacing grin. “It turns out that crutch handstands aren’t exactly the best idea.”

Summary
Tim, Jason, and Damian were on the same page for one thing and one thing only - Dick Grayson was a poor fighter, not that smart, and would be best suited not getting involved in most things because of his Mother Hen nature.
However, when the three of them end up tied up and hopeless, they get a night's worth of new information about their big brother.
(a.k.a. my personal fuck you to both Bruce's no kill rule and also DC for ignoring the fact they basically created a human weapon and just made him smiley and hot instead)Sequel to The One Where Dick's Brothers are (Unnecessarily) Worried About Him

Summary
"Nighthawk, is it?"
Clark prods at the intake paperwork on the table space between them. Nighthawk. A name so synonymous with another that it gives him the urge to scan the corners of the room more closely, as if the other half will materialize out of thin air. Typically, Superman isn’t one to conduct interviews, but this one is a tad personal. It’s not every day that one of the top fifty world’s most wanted zetas into the watchtower and hands you the cuffs.
Nighthawk offers a small nod. His armored suit is almost completely grey, save for the dull blue streaks across his chest and parts of his mask. The full-face, lead-lined mask mimics his partner’s, except it sports two eye cutouts instead of one. It’s the only sign anything remotely human sits behind it. That, and the steady heartbeat Clark’s attuned enough to hear.

Summary
Dick was not having a good day. He wasn’t even having a moderate day, which was almost always impossible, because his moderate day involved a certain wannabe-clown and a man named after inanimate object and an obsession with watching people suffer.
He was supposed to have a good day, however, because he was supposed to meet with Justice League today.
Or: No one is equipped enough for the 9 years old Robin.
