He hesitated slightly. “Just in case anything happens. It’s a necessary update that I’ve been putting off for a long time.” It would take a lot of weight off his shoulders, though Sam knew it was always going to be there. He would never be able to truly rest. There would always be something to do.
Once again there was a long pause. When Quackity finally did speak instead of sounding worried or confused he sounded excited. “That sounds amazing! You’re always so talented with redstone. I have utmost faith in you.” Then he paused. “But aren’t you running a bit low by now? How much have you been using?”
Sam paused. His supplies were running a bit low. Theoretically he could automate everything with the supplies he had, but it would give him very little margin of error. “I’ll manage” he mumbled, but it was clear he wasn’t confident.
“You sure Sam?” Quackity asked, clearly not believing it.
“Um yeah, I am.” Sam nodded. He wasn’t, but he didn’t want to bother anyone.
“Look, I have a shit ton of redstone I’m never going to use. I could deliver it tomorrow, if you want.”
OR-Sam's locked himself in the prison with Dream in a self-imposed exile. His friends take drastic measures to get him out
