Merlin let out a shaky breath. “...okay.” He closed his eyes. “I… I have never told this to anyone.” His voice was shaking, rough from the constant usage. “I never thought I would, but… It’s true nonetheless.” He hung his head. “I should just stop lying to myself and those around me, shouldn’t I?”
“Yes, just say it!”
“I… I…”
Merlin snapped his eyes open, to stare into Aredian’s gleeful face. “I think Arthur is not actually blond.”
Merlin is the one being interrogated by the Withfinder. Bad news for Aredian: Merlin + closed spaces + no food = an 'episode'. Chaos ensues.

The only ones who dared were his knights, and even they only smacked his shoulder or patted his back in friendly roughhousing. Gripping each other’s arms before battle was the most heartfelt touch they exchanged. Lingering soft touches were not done. Any lingering touch on his person could be interpreted as political movements. After all, Arthur’s body wasn’t his own. It never had been. He was Camelot’s first and foremost. Even above his own needs and wants.

Wei Wuxian no longer looks the same as he did when Lan Sizhui last saw him. He is not as thin but he is paler and shorter. Mo Xuanyu must have been related to his Baba in some way because it is hard to not mistake his face for Wei Wuxian’s original one. Lan Sizhui would be hard pressed to remember any differing details between them if he had not clung to the bloody memories of his Baba since he left him in that hollow tree trunk for Fuqin to stumble across him.
