Anyway, this is me playing around with Magic: The Gathering's Phyrexians because I love them and I want to. Random grunt, turned during the second invasion of Dominaria, just trying to avoid obvious trouble. And failing at this, of course. Because some people-turned-violent-death-machines just aren't cut out to be sleeper agents.

A dark reality seems to mirror our own, glimpses of which a select few have been able to see by studying the Flesh Interfaces. Passageways, but also entities, living on the fringes of reality and drug-induced madness.
The CIA has been studying it under project MK Ultra, and so have the Soviets of course. Occurrences of flesh interfaces have been reported in the midst of the Vietnam War and in Nazi led experiments in the Treblinka concentration camp. Legend has it the bloody countess Elizabeth Bathory and the Manson Family have also been in contact with it through grisly experiments.
But none come in contact with the flesh interfaces unscathed. Death often seems sweeter than what life has to offer afterward...

Any part of him that longed to do the right thing was swept away with a single gunshot in Shaw's office decades ago, and all that remains is a single-minded drive to reach his goals. If that requires betrayal, murder, terrorism, or any number of distasteful acts, that's fine by him. It's the only thing that sustains him, and he sometimes feels like he might drown if he doesn't have that to keep him moving forward.
But oh, how desperately does he want to stay when Charles asks him. Every single time, he considers melting the helmet into scrap and resolving to stay with Charles, goals be damned if that means he can stay with him forever. But he can't, he can't reconcile putting aside everything he's worked for up until now.
But what if Charles could make him?
