Summary
Buttercup always had large wings. From the time she was six, she had been adored by many, causing her wings to grow larger than anyone in leagues and leagues. And from the time she was six, Buttercup had the foolhardy dream of flying. And she’s going to do it, no matter how the weird farm boy distracts her.
Westley always kept his wings hidden under his shirt. Bouncing from job to job, young and hungry, all he cared about was surviving, not wings. And he’s going to keep on surviving, no matter how much that demon of a milkmaid distracts him.
OR an au where being loved makes you grow wings. Westley has no wings and Buttercup has some of the largest in the world, and they grow into true loves together.

Summary
Buttercup was having a fantastic month—the best month of her life, actually—since her family’s farm boy had recently caught her fancy. What a great way to have light hearted, stable centric, in-no-way-marriage-related fun! However, when the month ended and she still hadn’t bled, Buttercup realized that flights of fancies have consequences. Which were all obviously Farm Boy’s fault, somehow.
Because Buttercup doesn’t want to marry Farm Boy, a poor orphan with nothing but a smart mouth and ocean blue eyes. Nor does she want to raise a child or die in childbirth. Therefore, she must embark on a journey to be rid of the being inside her, a journey the farm boy named Westley insists on being a part of. Because he wants to help her, and Buttercup needs that help, and he really isn’t what she thought he was at all, that farm boy. And as she begins the worst month of her life, struggling through pregnancy and its secrecy, Buttercup starts to realize that what she feels for Westley isn’t light hearted at all.

Nimble and small and eyes as blue as the sky. Whoever she was, Westley realized, this was something to stay alive for.

This was a horrible idea. That was all Westley could think as Buttercup executed her plan to steal a brush someone had denied selling to her, following behind her in the dead of night. And sure, she smiled at him while she did it, but that didn’t mean it was a good idea. Soon they were running away in a panic, unable to shake the town’s guards, and Buttercup quickly had to come up with another idea to shake them off. It was definitely a surprising suggestion, but Westley found that this idea was not horrible at all, the most wonderful idea anyone in the world ever had.
OR Buttercup decides to steal a brush and Westley is a pining enabler who is more than happy to pretend to be her lover when the opportunity arises.

Farm Boy was odd like that.OR The two times Buttercup treats Westley's wounds, featuring him protecting her from village boys and then collapsing after their escape from the palace.
